"Ready or not here I come!"

Toni opened her eyes after keeping them shut for exactly 25 seconds. She had to admit sometimes she'd cheat and open her eyes at second 15, but Cheryl didn't need to know that. Luckily for them Grace had allowed the girls to play a small game in doors before dinner time, usually she would make them play outside for a bit so dinner would be a suprise but today everyone was in the mood for pizza so Grace had a little break from cooking.

Instantly she heard Cheryl's not so substle giggles coming from the living room. It was no secret that Cheryl wasn't the best player at hide and seek, she hid like everyone else but the spots were so obvious Toni found her very easily, but instead of ending the game so soon Toni made it a bit more interesting.

"Oh my goodness, I can't find her anywhere..." She dramatically made her way into the living room were her mother sat on the couch smiling at Cheryl's little giggles coming from behind the window curtain. "She's too good Mommy I'm stumped, again."

Cheryl giggled again wiggling her little toes from under to curtain. Her hand was over her mouth, eyes closed shut in glee, she had definitely chosen the right spot, she was sure of it.

"Have you seen her anywhere?" Toni smiled at her mother both of them looking over to the window curtain with a very obvious human sized buldge standing behind it.

"Not at all, did you look everywhere?"

"Yes, I'm telling you she went poof!" Her hands raised over her head acting out the little vanishing sound affect with her fingers. She looked around the room walking over to where the television was mounted on the wall.

"Is she here?" She asked peeking behind the little TV stand that held all the movies and remotes. Cheryl practically bursted into laughter flapping her hands in excitement making Toni giggle herself. "No..." She trailed off heading more toward the curtain were a little table holding Toni's favorite flamingo shaped lamp sat. "Not under the table either!"

Right before Toni was heading toward the curtain Cheryl popped out her face red as she laughed uncontrollably. She flapped her hands, grunting as if to say "I'm right here, see!? Look at me!"

She wrapped Toni in a hug her giggles lessoning. "Darn it, I was so close!" She hugged her friend back ruffling her hair before playfully pushing her off and running toward the front door.

"Cheryl has the cooties!!!!" She screeched unbolting the door and running out in the front yard. Cheryl laughed babbling in her own little language before running after her almost tripping over her feet in excitement. She ran out the door forgetting to shut it behind her like usual leaving Grace to be the one to shut it closed.
