Toni sat on the floor of Thornehill's living room nose deep in her Geography text book. She had been studying for days, or trying to at least. With Cheryl at home and things going at school she barely has time to really sit down and read over her material. Don't get her wrong, she loved caring for her girlfriend, and loved being cared for in return but at times Cheryl could be a bit of a handful. She had been falling behind in the class and this next big test was to determine if she was going to pass the third six weeks or not. With her cheese puffs sitting beside her her eyes scanned over the words as she got more and more frustrated with herself for having to constantly reread. Her mind kept wondering off, getting distracted by certain words sending her off into unintentinal thought. She knew one thing for sure, if she zoned back in to being three pages down and not knowing how she got there she would surely lose it.

This is why she hated studying.

She sighed in frustration once again turning back to where she last remembered. She marked in with her purple hughlighter before reaching for another cheese puff and popping it in her mouth.

"Damn it!" She exclaimed accidentally smudging the page with her cheetoh stained fingers.

"Betrayed by the cheesy puffs."

Meanwhile Cheryl came trotting down the stairs her favorite sketch book in her grip. She took her time making sure not to go too fast and trip like she normally did. She made her way into the living area immediately spotting Toni on the floor seemingly reading. She happily squealed as she popped down in front of Toni failing to really see the look of annoyance on her girlfriends face.

"Cheryl-"

She cut the girl off, not on purpose by shoving the sketch book in her face. Toni sighed, shaking her head before pushing the book away.

"Cheryl not now okay? Later, I'm trying to study for my test..."

Cheryl tilted her head to the side slowly taking back her book. She understood clearly and nodded before she set her book to the side to wait for her to finish. She rocked back and forth softly her eyes trained on her own feet. She took interest in them taking her shoe lace in her hand, playing with it. She twirled it around her index finger finding it a tad entertaining.

Toni tried turning her attention back to her book but it was becoming increasingly hard knowing Cheryl was literally sitting in front of her and waiting. She glanced up to see Cheryl gently rocking back and forth in place. Toni couldn't help but smile seeing her fiddle with the string of her shoes, even if it was serving as a distraction.

She chuckled a bit, sitting the book down as she reached for Cheryl's hands removing them from her shoe strings.

She waited for Cheryl to look up, hoping she would but knowing Cheryl she didn't.

"Babe, you are being very adorable right now but I have to focus. Can you come back a bit later?"

Cheryl softly whined blushing. She replied with a soft hum pulling away from Toni to fiddle with her fingers. Toni cupped her face, nodding as her lips softly kissed the tip of Cheryl's nose.

"Later, then we can draw all you want, promise."

Cheryl nodded before standing up to leave the room. Toni smiled seeing Cheryl head straight toward their book room possibly to go sit with her Aunt Cricket.
