Walking downtown in the city is kind of refreshing. I mean, there isn't as much as I can do here after my work. I work at a cafe afterschool because I really wanted to pay my own student loans for college. But that shouldn't matter right now..because I'm with my two bestfriends/co-workers-))
"Hey! Shuichi, why are you spacing out so much?" The blonde haired girl asked. This was Kaede Akamatsu, my best friend since middle school. She's always been there for me when I was at my worst, I'm pretty thankful that she's here with me as we speak. She has two jobs, as a pianist and a barista, like me. "Shuichi!" She snapped at me again. This time, I awoke from my daydreaming slumber. "Y-yes?" I reply. "Pfft, Shuichi we're gonna go to this new place. Cmon and relax, wanna go with?" She asks. I nod my head without thinking. Wait..what did she say again? Meh, what ever, i'm pretty sure its something like shopping for new clothes or whatever, so i'll come with.
"Shuichi, what were you daydreaming of?" The brunette asks calmly. This, this is Maki Harukawa. She is one of the most chillest YET DEADLIEST person that exsists. I met her my freshmen year from the cafeteria. Me, Maki, and Kaede are currently 15 and are in our Sophmore year. I'm just glad i'm not alone.
"Oh, I was thinking about our shift at the Cafe." I say in reply to Maki's question. She nods and looks away from me, not questioning it. ———- We were walking down the sidewalk when we see a huge place with people lined up in formation. What the heck is this place? I've never seen it before..and there are so many..clients. That place must be so popular. "We're here!" Kaede says happily. Wait..we are shopping here?
Kaede then taps my shoulder and gives me a sticky note. I read it in my head. ✨😆✨ Dear Shuichi, I know you've been stressing out from school and work so me and Maki decide to give you a gift! We didn't know what you liked until we saw this place in the making, and for you finally finishing your 50th shift this year we are treating you to this suprise. Yknow..since your so stressed and lonely, we are getting you a relationship buddy! 😆 Money will be handed over to you before you go in! Have funn! - ka(YAY)ede akamatsu [ur bestie obvs] ✨😖✨ Holy crap. What was she thinking?? Me?! In a relationship? I don't even have the social skills to pass as an average HUMAN BEING.
But it was too late to turn back now, Kaede and Maki gave me a nudge and pushed me to the receptionist.
"He wants a relationship!" Maki exclaimed. Woah.. out of all people i would have never guessed that Maki would actually be in on this. She is very secretive though.
"T-they want a relationship too!" I blurted out. The receptionist gave us 3 forms to fill out, like a pop quiz, we sat down with a clipboard and started writing on it with ink.
"Pssst. Shuichi. Y'know we only had enough money for you and Kaede right?" Maki whispers to me.
"Well..since you guys gave me 2,000 dollars to spend on a relationship (theres a sale 😃)...i happen to have a 2,000 check on me from my birthday a few months ago in my wallet. There's an ATM in the hallway, youcan go deposit it and get yourself one too." I whisper back handing her the check.
Suprisingly she takes the check embarrased and goes to the hallway where the ATM machine is. Wow, they must be serious on this.
I finally look at the forums to see what was on there. (forums were made by me ^^)

I signed the forum, and handed it over to the receptionist. She gave me a thumbs up and I waited for my friend to complete their forums.
