Lana POV

Hi. I'm going to give u the same piece of advice as my brother, Percy Jackson, gave you. If your normal, great. I envy you so much. But if u feel any thing stirring inside...

PUT THE DANG BOOK DOWN!!!!

Chances are, you are like me. A half-blood. It sounds amazing and fun to anyone normal. In truth, oh my gods, it sucks. Tracked down by monsters everyday. How would feel if u had to be kicked out of every school just because something happened and u didn't do anything?

My name is Lana Grayson.

For any of you who didn't know, Lana means calmness over waves.

Honestly, that so doesn't fit my personality. I have ADHD, so I'm never calm. I also have dyslexia, which didn't help anything. The feeling that I couldn't read at all and I was in 9th grade made me even more jumpy.

I didn't want to be a half-blood, yet, here I am, a dangerous half-blood out in the world. I'm also a telepathic mutant. Honestly, I'm one of few in the world. That doesn't help me being a demigod. I was only 14 when I found out, so ya. I'm younger than Percy.

Anyway, it had all started at Nancy Academy. It's for troubled kids. Sound a lot like Percy's school, Yancy academy? Yep, it certainly does. They call me a "troubled kid." That's what they think we are.

So how did I get there? Well I blew up the plumbing at my last school. I didn't even know how I did it. I just got mad at my enemy, a bully, obviously. I got expelled for that.

Well, you might think that I got expelled during a field trip this time. Nope. I've actually been on one field trip, and nothing really happened. I just saw someone staring at me, and he looked a lot like me. I didn't realize that it was my dad. But I blinked and he was gone.

So now I'm at a new school. To be honest, I only made one new friend. His name is Mike. He was new also. His left leg was disabled, so he always had crutches. Was he a satyr? Yes, yes he was. But he was killed before I even found out that I was a demigod.
