Matthew's POV

I was Hanging out with the Feder's while Lenny was on the phone. Greg and Keithie were playing a weird GTA Cruise videogame. Becky was most likely in her playroom playing with her dolls, sometimes she "invites" me for a tea party and I have to participate, and Max was in the bathroom a bit hungover. Me and Lenny both scowled him for it. Well, mostly me, Lenny is extremely busy, and I can't complain as I am one of his clients.

Lenny: I am the biggest agent in Hollywood and you just pissed me off. And now I'll pull Brad Pitt from your movie. I'll pull Julia Roberts from your movie. I don't care, Sandy. That's right, you better back down. Thank you. Have a good Fourth of July. All right, love you too.

I chuckled at the change of attitude for that phone call. I then noticed Lenny had a board game which meant he was going to try and make his kids normalish.

Lenny: What's up, boys? Hey. Greggie, Keithie. You guys ever hear of a game called Chutes and Ladders? Pretty awesome game. I used to play it when I was a kid. Okay, what it is, is they give you a spinner. And you spin. If you land on a ladder you get to climb up the ladder. If you land on a chute, you slide down the chute and start over again.

Greg: Yeah, and what happens? The winner gets a training bra?

Keithie: Yeah, Dad, that game sounds like it sucks.

Matthew: I used to play that game with your brother and our friends. He never won, and to this day I still haven't told him that we all worked together against him.

I laughed at my memories as Lenny gave me a look of minor disapproval.

Lenny: I'm telling you, this was the greatest game. Me and my buddies, Much like Max, Matthew, and their friends, would play it. We'd go down in the basement, drink hot chocolate.

Keithie: I wouldn't mind a hot chocolate right now. Hey, Rita. Rita!

Greg: Dude, you gotta text her. She's doing laundry. Hey, Dad, we were at the Spielberg's' house yesterday. They have a 150-inch TV. Can we get one of those?

Lenny: When you direct E. T. I'll get you one of those.

I laughed as they probably don't know what E.T. is.

Lenny: What is the object here? I don't get it. You're on a cruise ship and you chop people's heads off with a chainsaw?

Keithie: Oh, and you can drown them.

Lenny: Oh, you can drown them. Now I get it. Can somebody answer the phone?

Matthew: I'll do it for ya.

I start to get up.

Lenny: Please, stay you are our guest.

Then I realized that Keithie and Greg were in their own little world. Lenny noticed as well.

Keithie: Maybe I should get some chamomile for my throat too.

Lenny: Stop texting the nanny.

You know how gross that is... for a kid to text his nanny? Just go down the hallway.

Keithie: Why? You text everybody.

Lenny: I text people for my job so I can make money to pay for your texting.

Matthew: And to help me not move into my dad's basement.

Rita: Okay, I got everything for you, boys.

Lenny: Who was that on the phone, Rita?

Rita: I'm sorry, Mr. Feder, I don't know. Becky answered.

Lenny: Okay, okay. Thanks for making that.

Greg: Oh, my God, Rita! This isn't Godiva. What are you, trying to poison me?

Lenny: Good Lord, go back to texting. I don't ever wanna hear that out loud again.

Me and Lenny noticed something going on in the backyard. His car was heading towards the pool.

Lenny: What the heck is going on out here? Oh, my God.

Becky climbs out of the car and ran to us. Lenny gave her a hug. Max even ran out and joined us. I could tell immediately that he hit on a married woman as his black eye wasn't fully covered up.

Becky: I didn't mean to. It was an accident.

Lenny: I don't care. Are you all right? What the heck were you doing?

Becky: I was trying to use the Navi.

Lenny: The Navi? What's the Navi?

Becky: The Navi in the car to ask it a question.

Keithie: You mean the navigation system, idiot.

Max and I both slapped Keithie upside the head. Max may be a partier but he really does care about his family.

Lenny: Keithie, relax.

Becky: Some man called. He said your friend, Coach Buzzer, went to heaven. I was trying to find heaven for you on the Navi station... so you could go visit him. Who's your friend, Dad?

Wow who knew that a GPS could take you literally anywhere.

Lenny: Coach Buzzer was someone very special in Daddy's life. It's terrible. Okay, go drink some hot chocolate with these guys.

Becky: You sure you're okay?

Lenny: Okay, sweetie.

With that Becky, Greg, and Keithie left.

Lenny: Okay, so Max you are coming with us to the funeral, and Matthew I'll contact the producers and tell them that a family emergency happened. Coach Buzzer was an important figure in your fathers life.

Matthew I understand I'll go pack up my car and start heading home.

Max: Wait. Why do I have to go?

Matthew: Because last time you were home alone you wrecked the house, broke your foot, and probably scarred your siblings with the bikini models that were passed out naked in the backyard.

I said as Lenny nodded. I left with a smile on my face as Max had a look of dumbfoundedness on his face. Also, I was smiling as I was going to get to see my family and friends again. Especially Hannah. I lost my smile as I realized that I am going to need to keep Hannah away from Max. He doesn't know what she goes through in high school with guys hitting on her all the time. Before I left for Hollywood I may have cussed out Marcus as he is the reason his daughter is made fun of t school. I got to my car and packed up what I needed and took a road trip.
