Adam's POV
I was sitting at the dinner table with My Siblings and Grandmother, while my Dad was in the kitchen on the phone. Then my mom walked in. I smelt something greasy and I knew that my dad was going to be unhappy.
Deanne: Hey.
Andre: Hey, Mom.
Charlotte: Hi, Mom.
Adam: Sup, mom.
I said it that way as I knew it made her upset, but my dad and siblings laughed at it. So, win.
Kurt: Well, I'll see you there. All right.
Deanne: Hey, is something wrong?
Kurt: Yeah, it'll be alright. I'll talk to you about it later. I made the pumpkin risotto that we saw...on Rachael Ray's "Seasons of Summer" special.
Andre: It's awful, Mom.
Charlotte: It tastes like roadkill.
Adam: It's not that bad and since I'm finished can I head to Alice's?
Kurt: Thanks Adam, and yes you may. But Deanne, do you hear how they talk to me? Do you hear how...? You gotta say something.
Deanne: All right, kids. Now, you know your father works very hard... at keeping this house clean and putting meals on the table for us.
Kurt: Hello?
Deanne: Besides...I brought us a pizza.
And there I could hear, fell, and see the pain in my dad's heart. It was kind of funny to watch.
Kurt: You know what? Fine. Have your pizza. Have your pizza. You broke my heart. You broke my heart.
Mama R: Looks like it's his time of the month again.
Me and my mom laughed at what Grandma said and then I went to see Alice, after grabbing a slice of pizza.
