6- The Assignment

Mia's POV

"Mia!"

I turn around to see my lovely sister sprinting at me with a scroll in her hand.

"What's up?"

"Lord Snoke has given us an assignment, and I think you're going to love it."

She hands me the scroll. I cautiously unroll it to see Lord Snoke's handwriting.

Mia and Maddy...
I have a new mission for you. In 12 days, you must go to Canto Bight (Casino Planet). Recently a man by the name of Shot Gun Sam thought it would be funny to get paid for sending faulty guns. We lost more than twice the Stormtroopers than we ever do in 5 battles combined. When you get there, go to the Starry Casino and ask for Amaris. (If you have read my Twilight Fanfic, you know her name, lol. If you haven't, I hope you'll go and check it out!) She will set you up with some accessories or tips that you may need on this mission. Why, you may ask? People as of late have been more suspicious of single men or women at gatherings where you should be bringing a plus one. So both of you must bring a "date." Kill Shot Gun Sam and return after three days as not to cause a rise in the people. Do not disappoint.
Snoke

I look at Maddy and smirk. Her eyes widen, and face pales.

"Oh, no-no-no. Don't you dare, Mia."

"Make me!"

I shout as I run down the halls to Hux's office, where at this time, I know that he'll be filling out papers. Making the door stay shut, Maddy bangs on it while I walk over to the red-head. Armitage looks at me like I'm a child who snuck into the cookie jar.

"What have you done to run to me for protection?"

I smile widely and read out the end of Snoke's letter.

"Go to the Starry Casino, and ask for Amaris. Blah blah blah, people have been getting suspicious of single men or women, blah blah blah, both of you must bring a DATE."

Laughs ring throughout his office as I crumble to the floor.

"Ok...but what does that have to do with me?"

"How has neither of you noticed yet? You obviously really like my sister. And no matter how much Maddy tries to hide it, she is very much in love with you. So you, Armitage Hux...will escort my sister on this mission. While I..."

I pause and gulp nervously.

"I will ask Kylo to escort me."

"Oh my Yoda. You certainly are crazy Mia."

Armitage starts to laugh making me lose focus on the door for a split second. It was long enough for the door to open and Maddy to tackle me to the ground.

"What did you say!?!"

"Before I answer, Armitage, may I have the letter please?"

"Of course. Here."

He hands it to me.

"As for your historical question..."

Wiggling my fingers in Maddy's ribs she starts to giggle and falls off of me. Standing up I speed to the door, only to stop right next to it and turn around.

"I told Armitage everything. The everything basics that is. Now I think I will leave you both to explain your lovey-dovey emotions to each other. Toodles! (If anyone watches Riverdale you know whom I just referenced)
