Maddy's POV
Mia runs out, leaving me with the one man I've actually liked romantically. Slowly I turn around to see Armitage just a few short feet away. Mustering up what little courage I now have left, I stutter out a few words.
"What....what did...Mia say?"
"That she knows that I have...romantic emotions for you and that you return them? Along with saying that, I will be escorting you at the Casino for your mission."
My skin feels abnormally warm, but I know all of the blood has drained from my face. I search his face hoping that he is joking, but there is not one spot of humor.
"You...love me?"
"I've known that I loved you for about a month now, but I fell for you the first time you kicked my ass."
A smile crawls upon my lips as I remember that day.
"Mia has been shipping us since she saw how egotistical you were. Considering the fact she knows that I love taking people down a few pegs."
"I like my girls feisty, anyway."
A blush chases away my pale skin within a moment. We both chuckle, him at me, and me a little out of embarrassment.
"Come're."
He opens his arms and I gladly walk into them just to hide the red on my pale cheeks. Holding me close to him, Armitage places his chin on the top of my head. But at the same time, we look at one another, gravity seems to pull us in until before I know it, our lips connect in a feather-like kiss. I lean back when an occurring question pops into my head.
"Well, I might as well ask now. What are we, Armitage? I mean other than co-workers?"
"As of now, I will be escorting you on your next mission...but I would rather escort you... like my girlfriend?"
"Is this your way of asking me out?"
"In a sense...yes. But I am also asking you to be my woman."
"...Yes...a million times yes!"
He pulls me in for another kiss in which I do not refuse. We pull back and smile at each other. A loud thought screams at me and I watch his face turn from one of content, into amusement.
"Has Mia ever mentioned liking anyone here in particular? Maybe a certain black-haired force-user?"
"She hasn't mentioned anything, but I can read her like a book anyway. She has definitely fallen for the infamous Kylo Ren."
"Then she needs help. Before you tackled her, she mentioned something about asking Kylo to be her escort to your next mission..."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Meanwhile With Mia (Her POV)
I stand in the door to the training room watching Kylo take his anger out. But for once he doesn't have his mask on so it almost makes him scarier seeing the raw emotions cross his face. Looking down at the letter for what seems to be the 100th time, regret pools in my stomach at the thought of coming here to ask Kylo a question during one of his moods. I start to turn around and leave but his voice stops me.
"What do you want Mia?"
I whip back around to give a speedy excuse.
"Nothing! It's nothing, nevermind. I'll ask someone else. Okay, bye now."
"Wait."
His command stops me in my tracks. Turning around I see him cross the room slightly slower than his normal pace. When he reaches about 20 feet away from me, he starts to speak.
"Come here."
I break the eye contact that we had maintained to look at the letter again. I quickly "shuffle" over to him when his voice resonates throughout my whole body as he starts to speak.
"What is it that you need?"
"It's ok Kylo. I realized that I caught you in a moment."
"It's on the paper isn't it?"
My neck snaps up to look at him. Kylo just raises his eyebrow in an 'I'm waiting' fashion.
"...No..." He easily reads through my lie.
"Prove me wrong then."
"You're so mean..."
He chuckles lowly so I just hold up the paper. He takes it and starts to read. About a minute later he finishes reading but seems confused.
"I do not believe this has anything to do with me. Why not just take a look at the lower guardsmen and choose your pick to escort you?"
Kylo's POV (Really Quick)
It stabbed my heart to have to say that...but it had to be done in case she doesn't feel the same way. After all, she is used to my hard exterior anyway.
Back to Mia's POV
"Well...I can't exactly...ugh. I can't do that."
"Why not? And why come to me for advice?"
"I won't lie when I thought it would be a bit more obvious why I would show you this letter."
"Mia...what is going on?"
Just then the door slides open behind me. My twin walks in with Armitage's arm draped over her shoulder. A blush rises to my cheeks thinking about how embarrassing this will be with Maddy here. Maddy bounces over with a pep in her step, Armitage right behind her.
"So Mia, have you told our dearest Kylo about our next mission? Or did you come here planning on it, and then try to back out the whole time while he tries to get the answer from you? If it is the second on...this is gonna be fun for me to spoil it as you spoiled it for Hux and me.
"That would be the second one, my dear sister. Now...please help with your bluntness."
"Well alright then." (All I could think of was Avatar [On Pandora] when the guy with the scar across his head said that lmao)
Kylo being very slow still, takes this time to speak up.
"Seriously, what is going on here?"
"What my dear sister here is trying to say is..."

OMG I'M ALIVE!!!!!! I will try to update more I promise. Oddly enough right now is actually when the most dramatic stuff has been happening in my life. But I am glad I got this chapter out and I hope to get the next one out soon!
