Rebuttal: the act of rebutting especially in a legal suit also : argument or proof that rebuts.

"So what's the plan, Perce?" Luke asked.

The group of of hell-dwellers were gathered close to a fire Leo had made, all sitting down. Bianca sat with Thalia, both of them hunters and the only girls. Ethan and Leo looked awkward as they sat together, but slowly grew to not care.

Percy playfully shoved Luke, loyalty to him restored to how it was before. "Why do you think I have a plan?"

"You always have a plan," Luke said. He paused slightly but shook his head a moment later. "Okay, I lied. But you're the leader of us, so you get to make the plan,"

"Ugh, I hate that rules," Percy said. "Bad enough Di Angelo already told the gods everything. Now I have to make plans too? Why can't we just go in and slaughter them all?"

"Because that would get us killed," Bianca said. "You know that, Perce. Just send someone in, learn the plans Camp Half Blood has,"

"Luke and Ethan, you will be sent in," Percy said bluntly.

"What?!?"

"It makes sense. Hecate can whip up some sort of potion or something. You can get disguises. Just give a truth potion to someone secretly, and maybe one that makes them a bit dumber so they don't realize. When it's over, just make them forget the conversation. In and out in a day, report the plans, and we'll figure out what to do until then. Are the instructions clear?"

"Yeah," both Luke and Ethan muttered sadly.

"Now go find Hecate and tell her what you need. I'll stay back with Bianca, Leo, and Thalia. I need to talk with Pinecone Face for a moment anyways,"

So as the two boys headed off, Percy pulled Thalia over to the side, leaving Bianca and Leo in an awkward silence.

"So. . ." Leo trailed off. "What's your favorite type of silverware?"

Next to the river of fire, Percy was whispering harshly at Thalia, who seemed to be amused by the whole situation.

"Why did you tell Bianca we were dating?" Percy hissed. "You understand you could've ruined everything, right?"

"Because I ship the two of you," Thalia said bluntly. "You know what I always say. Once your cousin and one of your closest friends gets betrayed by everyone you ever knew and really trusted and then comes to kill your brother but you actually understand it and for some reason felt like your cousin was more a brother to you and you understand his side more, you set him up with a memory wiped dead person he couldn't save,"

"You've never said that,"

Thalia smirked, a mischief in her eyes. "Maybe you've just never listened,"

"Okay Thals, I'm not joking. Why did you do it?"

"You'll thank me at your wedding," was all Thalia said as she walked over to join the two. Percy caught up quickly and wished for context.

"I'm just saying! You can do anything with a spoon! All you can do with a fork is get pork! Which you can do with a spoon!" Bianca was saying.

"But forks let you stab things!" Leo argued back.

"I don't know what we walked in on," Percy whispered to Thalia.

"Neither do I. Want to hang up on them and be team knife?" Thalia whispered back. Percy just stared at her, but shrugged and went along with it.

"No, it's knifes for the win," Thalia said. "You can cut with them, stab things with them, and eat off of them. Plus you can spread butter,"

"Oh please. What can you do with a knife?" Leo asked.

"This." Percy grabbed a knife and flashed out and back in, a blond son of Athena in his grasp. "This is
Malcolm. I believe you already know Thalia and Leo, and I know you are aware of Bianca. But we need to settle a bet, and I say knifes are better, so I just need to prove you can kill someone with them. It won't take more than a minute. I'll probably revive you and push you in the River Lethe anyways,"

His throat was slit and he fell to the ground before he could say another word. Percy turned back and smile at the two on spoon and fork side. "Did I convince you?"

"Yeah, yeah," Bianca smiled. "I'll join team fork,"

The four began to head into the castle in hell. Percy looked over his shoulder. "Don't slip on the blood, by the way!"
