Allegiance: loyalty or commitment of a subordinate to a superior or of an individual to a group or cause.
Percy could feel soemthing was wrong, much like he had been able to before. Annabeth and Nico were traitors and they didn't even know it. The only two surviving demigods still alive that had been to hell, the only ones Percy had free access to.
The olympians, that's who he was feeling. The olympians were doing something at camp. Nico had warned them alright, he had warned them everything.
The son of Hades had been a pain for way too long, and it was Percys understanding that when there was a problem, you disposed of it.
Luckily, he could still communicate with Luke and Ethan. Percy mentally told them the plan, and that all they had to do was grab Di Angelo and teleport back.
He hadn't really decided wether or not he wanted to kill or torture Nico, but he knew he was going to make it painful.
"Percy!" Luke called, and Percy knew they hadn't failed. "We have the son of a bit—I mean son of Hades!"
Percy couldn't help but chuckle at his friends antics, and he walked over to Ethan and Luke; who were holding a struggling Nico.
"Well hello, Nico. So nice of you to drop by," Percy smiled, lifting Nicos head up to look at him. "If I didn't hate you so much, I'd almost offer you a place to join us. Instead, however, I think I'll just break you,"
"Wh—why are you targeting me?" Nico asked, his voice hoarse as he looked at Percy.
"Because there are a few people that hurt the most when they betrayed me, my friends from the war with Kronos. Annabeth Chase was one, perhaps the one that hurt the most actually. Thalia could've been another one, did hurt for a while until I learned she never actually betrayed me. Grover Underwood hurt almost as much as Annabeth, I felt the empathy link retreat, you know. Felt it vanish as though Grover wanted nothing to do with me. And you, Nico. You hurt too, you already hated me, and then you didn't, and now you do again. Or do you? That's the thing, you still look at me like I am a monster, like people could change into monsters and still change back but your wrong. Once you're a monster, once you've done the things I've done, there's no going back. So really, Nico, why wouldn't I be targeting you?"
"You—you'll fail,"
"You heroes are always the same," Percy shook his head, throwing his arms up in the air and gesturing to the air. "Look around Nico. You are in hell, there's no where for you to run anymore. There's no one coming to get you, no way out! This is how it is now, this is all there is. That's what you don't understand, I'm going to win!"
"You'll never. I—I'll stop you," Nico tried to move but Luke and Ethan remained holding him.
Percy whirled around, eyes flashing a dangerously. "That's why I'm going to break you. Underwood I can deal with, I can kill. Chase I'll break myself. But you, I don't need to kill you. Chase doesn't care about anyone, only herself. You? You care so deeply. Maybe that's how I'll break you. I know you cared about Hazel, your poor half sister. Maybe I should bring her back and kill her in front of you. How would that feel, I wonder. To watch—helpless—as I take your sister with my bare hands and crush her scull,"
Nico let in a shaky breath. "You won't be able to touch her when I'm through with you,"
"And the Solace boy," Percy continued. "Will, was it? Oh I know the two of you have a thing going, you care so deeply about each other. Maybe that's what I should do as well. Hurt you by hurting him,"
"You'll never get the chance," a new voice said. Percy spin around, an arrow aimed at him by none other than Will Solace. "Sorry for the surprise,"
Percy grinned. "Can't be a surprise if I was counting on it,"
Before you could say the words WTF, Percy had Will by a choke, Nico struggling against his captors to break free. Will tried to stay strong, but he was running out of oxygen. "Kill me then. Leave him alone, and just kill me,"
"I don't think I will. You see, I was counting on you coming down here. Did you hear, I made an alliance with both Hades and Hecate, and even Chaos has given me gifts. Do you want to know what one of them is?"
"What?"
Percy moved to look at Will, his eyes flashing red. He watched as Wills did the same, but they returned back to their normal blue. Percy let go of Will and motioned to Nico.
"Have fun,"
Will drew an arrow from his quiver, but didn't move the bow from his back as he smirked. He walked towards Nico, arrow drawn and tracing Nicos eye.
"I always wanted to know how you got each scar," Will smiled. He jammed the arrow into Nicos eye. "Now I get to give you one,"
Fun freaking chapter. Nicos gonna go blind, Will is with Percy, there was that whole dramatic 'this is how I'm gonna hurt you' thing Percy did. I had fun.
