The game of chess is like a reality check. You never know who strikes and when they strike. Either you die, or you win!
Life, as harsh as it may sound is the same battle.
Neither is anything wrong nor is anything absolutely right.

Anjali woke up and looked around, she blinked in confusion for a moment or so wondering where she was and then yawned recollecting that she had gotten married.

Looking towards the couch and frowned muttering, "Where is he?"
Quickly freshening up, she walked out of the bedroom and looked around the house. It was empty. Immediately she grabbed her phone and tried to call Pratap but he wasn't picking up his phone.
Then she called Adhira, "Maa...umm...where are you and...."
"Don't panic," came the woman voice from the other end. "Pratap dropped me and Utpal home and has gone to court. It was urgent I presume. He'll come back soon."
"Ok...bye..." She mumbled and cut the call frowning, "Why didn't he wake me up! And...what's the time?" She groaned and looked at the time on her phone. "11 am! Seriously! Wow!"
Quickly changing, she rushed to the hospital. Luckily her shift was at noon and she made it on time.
"I thought you'd be on leave!" Exclaimed Sharanya popping a brow at her friend.
Anjali exhaled sharply saying, "I've practically gotten married to someone who's first wife is his work!"
Sharanya grinned and turned on the TV in the lobby saying, "Your husband has put Jadeja in prison!"
"Really!" Exclaimed Anjali and began watching the news.
"Sir... according to court proceedings you also alleged that Jadeja had attempted to murder you. When and how did that happen?" Asked one reporter.
"Sir, the entire incident with your fiance was it a setup or did you really decide to meet her at Nahargahr?" Asked another report running towards him.
Luckily, for Pratap he simply walked away while the police took care of the crazy reporters who were nearly falling on him. He simply detested giving interviews and answering the reporters obnoxious questions.
Stepping into his car he drove away muttering, "Do they sleep during the trial that they come and pounce on me like hungry animals! And why are people interested in my personal life! Jeez..."
Just then his phone rang, connecting it to his Bluetooth he received the call without looking at the caller ID.
"I'm not interested in giving any interview." He snapped in a sharp voice.
"It's me....your wife."
Immediately he bit his tongue and grinned replying, "I didn't see the call ID...where are you?"
"Hospital." She smiled after checking the patient. "You should have woken me up before leaving! And...you didn't pick up your phone when I..."
"I was in court," he replied. His eyes fixed on the road ahead. "Also...when I left you were fast asleep...I was merciful enough not to disturb you. Say thank you."
