CHECKMATE, is t...
Shivendra sat alongside Siddharth who looked around at the various business men of other companies and then back at Shivendra saying, "You're going to buy the frozen foods section back?"
"Yes, that Vinayak....that good for nothing creature has practically gone bankrupt. How I wish he had gotten into some loan frauds and was thrown in prison." Sighed Shivendra shaking his head a little.
"Wow! You're the first cousin in the century to wish evil on his own kins!" Taunted Siddharth.
"No, I'm not the first, Duryodhan was." He replied making Siddharth chuckle at his words.
"We will now begin the auction," came the sharp voice from the microphone. "Rathore Frozen Foods...starting price will be 1 crore...."
"That's rather less..." Mumbled Siddharth sitting back on the chair. Leaning a little closer to Shivendra he asked, "Are they selling it because they can't handle it or they have ran out of money for enjoying life!"
"It's both actually." Replied Shivendra, "ummm.....have you told Pratap about the auction?"
"No...." Mumbled Siddharth. "Just let him enjoy...."
"Right." Nodded Shivendra and continued as people bet higher and higher for the company.
"When do you plan to place your bet!" Asked Siddharth growling a little.
Immediately Shivendra raised the card in his hand saying, "100 crores." He grinned at a dumbfounded Vinayak who stood beside Ranveer.

Ranveer smiled saying, "If you had to buy your own company back why then did you divide it?"
"Because I'm a good boy and I believe in giving losers a chance." Came Shivendra's reply that made everyone present laugh.
Vinayak nervously looked at Ranveer and asked, "Should I sell the company to him? Ranveer why don't you bet as well!"
"Vinayak," smiled Ranveer gently, "you know I'm not into the matters of the world....I can't buy the company..."
Vinayak sulked a little and auctioned off the company to Shivendra. With the auction complete, Siddharth quickly called Pratap.
"Yes?" He yawned over the phone.
"Turn on the news Shiv has bought the frozen foods section from Vinayak."
Pratap immediately sat up on the bed and grabbed the remote turning on the TV.
"What the hell! Sid why didn't you stop him!" Exclaimed Pratap in dismay.
"But what's the matter? Asked Siddharth with a frown. "It was Shivs company anyway!"
"Yes I know it is..." Growled Pratap pressing his shoulder a little. "But now don't you think Vinayak and company will play the goody-two-shoes image!"
