"BUT NOW I'M THE CEO!" Roared Shivendra aloud nearly throwing a vase on Vinayak.

Meenakshi collapsed in Imdrajit's arms as soon as she saw that her son was so close to dying because of Shivendra's tantrums.

"But Shiv," began Vinayak in a composed voice, "I simply asked you to employ me in the company, is that too much to ask?"

"Oh bloody idiot!" Groaned Shivendra wanting to strangle his cousin. "What can I do when the HR team didn't find you eligible? And I have made it extremely clear to the HR department that everybody should be employed based on merit."

"Do you mean that Vinayak isn't worthy of being a manager?" Shouted Harshit.

"Look horse shit! If the HR didn't approve then I can't do anything." Shrugged Shivendra.

"Bade papa, do you support this injustice done to Vinayak?" Asked Meenakshi with tears in her eyes. "My son's and I have no where to go! All we have got is shame and disrespect from this family!"

Prithviraj wanted to roll his eyes at the woman who was a pro at wallowing in self-pity. "If Vinayak wasn't found..."

"But what if Shivendra purposely asked the HR department not to employ Vinayak?" Retorted Indrajit growling aloud.

"Then that would be a case of corruption Indrajit." Snapped Pratap who had just entered the mansion alongside a clueless Anjali.

One look at Anjali with Pratap made Indrajit shout, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING WITH HIM?"

One look at Anjali with Pratap made Indrajit shout, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING WITH HIM?"

Anjali scowled at Indrajit and shrugged asking, "Why are you making a scene?"

Pratap walked over to Indrajit and stood in front of him, preventing him from looking at Anjali.

Snapping his fingers in front of Indrajit's eyes he said, "The HR team is clear off any bribery charges that you had filed against them just because they didn't employ your brother." Looking at Shivendra he said, "You're clean chit out of this!"

Shivendra nodded and hugged his friend in gratitude. Pratap was glad that Siddharth had immediately informed him that Indrajit had pressed false charges of allurement against CEO Shivendra Rathore.

"Indrajit Rathore," smirked Pratap, "I can press charges of defamation against you."

The smirk on Pratap's face made Anjali grin. He was extremely appealing. Not only in looks but also brains and Anjali simply wanted to get married to him.
