I was seething. At least, I was until Rome's face and smile popped up once he accepted the FaceTime. Still, I tried to muster some degree of rage when I interrupted his pleasantries.

"You changed my whole playlist."

"Good afternoon, Ads," he repeated, flashing another, larger, smile. With dimples on top this time just in case I hadn't already been wavering in my anger before.

I rolled my eyes. "You changed my whole playlist."

"I needed to complete my charity commitment."

"Rome!"

"Addy!" he mimicked, matching the higher octave my voice took on. Falling backwards into his bed, the camera tilted down just enough to show a flash of his torso, shirtless, before refocusing back on his face.

"Ugh, Rome. I knew I was going to regret this sharing Spotify idea."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." His smile said otherwise. "Best investment I ever made."

"Yea, you would think so since you're so big on your whole music is the--"

"Best way to know someone; I'm telling you, it is!" he finished off for me, laughing, and despite myself, I chuckled along with him.

"Okay," I finally said once I managed to stop laughing. "Okay, what does my music taste say about me?"

"I don't--"

"Addy, y'all better not be playing some variation of 'hide the zucchini.'"

Rome and I both paused, the silence only broken by a single lifted eyebrow on his end and a facepalm, a groan and added mortification on mine.

"Tamara?"

Groaning, I nodded my confirmation, daring to peek through my fingers for his reaction and comforted when I saw his familiar good-natured smile.

"You know, I'm really looking forward to meeting her officially."

"Yeah, I'm literally putting that off for as long as I can."

"Wh--"

"Addy!" Tamara called out again, really taking advantage of the fact that I was the only one home.

"I'm sorry; I really have to run. But now you have all day to think about what my music taste says about me because I'm gonna call you later and quiz you."
