Chapter 7

Yunlan's POV

Even thought I met Wei just a few hours ago, I was deeply missing him. I could not concentrate on my studies nor my book. I was soo happy and crazily in love with him. My pursue for him was worthwhile. So, I decided to meet him at his house and give a reason that he came to see Riju instead. He wanted to see a jealous Wei and he loved it.

As he was walking towards Wei's house, he finds Riju running towards him and a women running behind Riju.

"YUNLAN.....don't let her near me....."

After hearing this I immediately go in alert mode. I pull Riju behind me and stand up against the women.

The women stops in front of me trying to catch her breath "You......who are you? Why are you protecting this boy. Give him to me"

"Never!......" I look at Riju who was crying "who is she?"

"She says she's my mother"

She retorts back "I'm your mother you brat....."

"I will never accept you as my mother. You hurt Papa....."

My eyes widen at this "What did she do Riju?"

"She was choking papa....papa could hardly breath.....I don't know if he is......."

All sort of emotions started running through me. "Is Wei okay? Is he hurt? Is he fine? Or Is he .......?" I was sad and angry at the same time. I could not believe that I will lose my Wei for this bitch.

"What did you do to Wei?"

"Ohh...you know Wei too.... hahahah.... looking at your expression it looks like you know Wei too deeply... you wanna know what I did to him?.....heheheh.....I killed him....he's dead....he was lying on the floor like a lifeless doll....He deserved it, how dare he keep my son away from me"

"Nooooooo.....you are lying.....papa is not dead.....uwaahhhhhhh....." Riju starts trembling and bowling his eyes out, desperately holding on to me and calling for his papa.

I could not round my mind through these words. I could not believe that Wei was dead. This bitch must be lying.

"Yunlan.....papa told me to run to you. Papa tried to send her away but she attacked papa. I was there, watching everything and couldn't help papa at all"

I rub his hair in comforting manner "It's not your fault, it's all her fault. Don't worry, Wei sent you to me believing I will protect you and that I will"

"Stop talking nonsense and give Riju to me and I will let you go away"

"Come to me fair and square bitch!"

"Y-You....how dare you speak to an elder like this."

"You don't deserve any kind of respect"

The women screamed and jumped on me tackling me to the ground. She was strong but I was stronger, I re-tackled her and pinned her to the ground. Riju was looking at us with a terrified look on his face.

"Riju....run to my home and call police....hurry!"

But before Riju could turn around, 2 police cars stopped near us and immediately pulled me away from the women. She saw the opportunity and tried to show as a damsel in distress.

"Officer...you came in a right time. He was trying to kill me. I just wanted my son, but he attacked me" she fake cried in front of the police.

"No! She is lying....she hurt my papa....I ran away from her and Yunlan was trying to protect me"

But the police did not listen to anyone and walked towards the women and handcuffed her. She was surprised and anger arose in her.

"What are you doing? Why are you handcuffing me? You should arrest that boy, he tried to kill me"

"I request you to remain silence, any words from you will be used against you in the court"

"How dare you threaten me.....do you know who I am? I will make sure to kick you out of your job. I will take revenge on you too boy just wait and watch"

She was dragged to the police and pushed inside forcefully as she was struggling against them. One of the officer turned towards me "The caller is hospitalized, it's better you meet him"

"Who was the caller?"

"He said his name as Shen Wei"

I widen my eyes in happiness, my Wei was well and good. We took a taxi and hurried to the hospital to check on him. We went to the receptionist and asked about Wei. She gave us a room number and we rushed in anticipation and worry. As I opened the door, I saw Wei lying on the bed sleeping soundly.

Riju went ahead and sat on one side holding Wei's hand. I sat on the opposite and we both waited for Wei to wake up.

Wei's POV

As I ran out behind her and Riju, I knew she would not stop until I called the authorities. I immediately contacted the police and told them everything. There was a petrol car nearby and they informed them about the situation. After the call, I tried to run towards them but my legs gave out and I fell on the ground. My neck felt tight and I was getting difficulty to breath.

The petrol car stopped near me and they called an ambulance after I gave them a brief theory about the situation I am in. After taking a promise that they will bring my son back to me that I agreed to go to the hospital. I was laid down in a stretcher and put a oxygen mask on me, It made me feel better.

I was treated for my wounds. While fighting her off many of my vases in the living room had broken and I cut my leg and my arm. I should be traumatized by the choking, as it felt she was sucking the life out of me. But nothing let me as I just kept thinking about my son. The grab on my neck was so tight that a thin line could be seen around my neck.

I was given medication for my wounds and after waiting for sometime, the medicines started effecting me and that lulled me to sleep.

The next time I woke up I was surprised to see Yunlan beside me. As I was about to get up he pushed me back on the bed.

"Yun------"

"Shhhh....Riju is still sleeping"

I look to my other side and find Riju lying his head on my bed and sleeping beside me. I look at him warmly, but suddenly I remember about the women.

"Where is she?"

"Police arrested her"

"How come you are here? Did she come to your house?"

"No I met them on the way, Riju told me what happened. When I stopped her from taking Riju she attacked me"

"Whaat? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine Wei, the police arrived just in time and took her. They told us about you and we rushed here immediately. Riju has been crying the whole time, thinking that you were......."

"Dead?"

"Yeah, he cried himself to sleep. You really scared me there you know. She told us she killed you and you fell down like a lifeless body. I thought I lost you, I thought I was too late to save you, I thought......."

I could see that Yunlan was panicking, I slowly raise as to not wake Riju and touch his cheeks. "I'm fine! How can I leave my two precious people behind"

Yunlan holds my hand and kisses my cheeks "I'm glad you are okay"

Just then the door open and in walks.........

"WEIIIIIIII"

"Oh my god.....not him...."
