CLARA'S POV

I cleared my throat and began walking, swaying my hips as I stalked towards Club Booze, the line to get in surprisingly long for it being a Thursday night. I walked straight up to the bouncers, flashed them a smile and flipped my hair behind my shoulder, revealing my bare shoulders. The bouncers smiled at me, and one opened the rope to let me in. I winked at him and walked into the club, searching the room for one person in particular. I saw a blonde man sitting alone at the bar, looking at many ladies until his eyes landed on me. He saw me looking at him and smirked, nodding his head behind him, signalling me to come over to him. I made my way over to him, making sure to pop my hip with every step and never break eye-contact with him.

"Are you here alone, darling?" the man asked me, and once I was this close up I could confirm that it was indeed the subject.

"I like to come alone, but never leave alone," I said, twirling a piece of hair while I made it obvious I was checking him out. The fact that I needed to check him for weapons helped me sell it, too.

"I don't think that will be a problem," he said, waving the bartender over as he smirked at me. "Another scotch for me, and for the lady?" he turned to me to answer. One of the many rules of being a spy: stay alert.

"No thanks," I turned down the offer, placing my hand on his hand to try to show I wasn't pushing him away.

"No really, I insist," he said, ordering a martini for me. "It's on me," he grinned, placing his other hand on top of mine. I tried my best to not look annoyed at his disregard for me turning down his drink offer, and took a seat next to him, crossing my right leg over my left, slowly, so he had a chance to look at them. I smirked at him as he watched me like a school boy in love. So far, the mission was a success. It's not over yet, I had to remind myself.

"So, what's you name?", I asked him, twirling more hair with my free hand. He paused for a moment, like he was contempleting whether or not to tell me his real name.

"Robert," he finally said, only taking his eyes off of me to look at his new drink that had just arrived. "And may I put a name to the beautiful face?".

"Evelyn," I lied, taking the smallest sip possible from my martini.

"You don't look like an Evelyn," Robert told me, sipping his own drink. His comment immediately sent me on alert. It was like he was expecting me to say something else.

"Oh yeah? What do I look like?" I asked, sipping my drink again and trying to stay calm. Robert just smirked at me.

"No clue. But Evelyn sounds like such an innocent name and you look anything but innocent," he said, placing his hand on my thigh and rubbing my leg up and down gently. I instantly relaxed once I realized he was just setting himself up to bring up how sleazy, or in his eyes, hot, I looked. I bit my lip, trying to get him to think I was enjoying the way he was touching me. The way he licked his lips led me to believe I had, in fact, done that.

"I'm getting a little bored. Do you know any place we could go to have some fun?" I asked, taking my hand and pulling Robert closer by grabbing his tie. I internally smacked myself for sounding so desperate. However, he smirked down at me, obviously liking where this was going.

"I can think of a few," he said, standing up. "Follow me," he said before taking my hand and leading me towards a side door, straight into an abandoned alley on the side of the club. Now I was pleased with where this was going. "My car is right over here," he started to say before I pulled him back towards me, placing a hard kiss on his lips. When he started to get into it, I pushed him away, making sure I had enough room to knock him out. With one hard punch to the jaw, Robert was on the ground, knocked out cold.

"Alright, I got him in the alleyway of the club. He's knocked out, the mission was a success," I spoke to the two men in the truck who I knew were listening.

"Good work Agent Walker, we'll be out to get the subject in a few minutes. Stand guard by the body while we inform the Director".

"Copy that," I said, looking around the alleyway, waiting so I could go back to school, and wash this sleazy club off of me. I heard footsteps nearing my position, and knelt down by the body, assuming the person was just a drunk guy looking for a place to pee.

"Can I help you, miss?" a deep voice, with a British accent asked me. I didn't even look up as I tried to make it seem like I didn't need any help at all.

"Oh, no thanks. My boyfriend just got so drunk he passed out. I'm just waiting for a taxi to take us back home," I said, holding Robert's face and faking trying to wake him up.

"Walker, is someone there?" I heard the voice in my ear speak. I quietly mumbled yes, hoping this guy would leave soon.

"In an alleyway?" he spoke again, and my heart stopped as I heard the familiar sound of a gun being cocked. I slowly opened up my clutch with one hand, wrapped my hand around my pistol, and pulled it out and stood up in a split-second, aiming it at the man in the alley, who had a gun trained on me as well. "That's what I thought," he chuckled, stepping closer towards me. I cocked the hammer, warning him not to take a step closer. He had stepped into the faint light provided by a lamp in the alley and stopped after hearing my gun. I almost gasped at the sight in front of me.

The man in front of me was breath-taking. Tall and lean, but with a built body, and a mop of chocolate brown hair that was perfectly quiffed on top of his head. His face was well-defined, with sharp jaw bones and soft, pink lips. He had beautiful, intense green eyes, much like my own. And to top it all off, a gun in his hand pointed right at me.

"Who are you?" I asked the boy, my gun pointed straight at him.

"I don't believe you're in the position to be asking questions," his deep voice spoke again, a cocky undertone to his words as he motioned at his gun. I smirked at him, twitching my gun a little to bring his attention to it but never taking it off of him.

"Really? Because I have one too, and in case you haven't noticed, mine's bigger," I said, referencing to his small hand gun. The mysterious boy smirked, ammused by our banter.

"Maybe. But I brought back-up," he said, right before two men appeared from either corner behind him, each one with his own gun. My ears picked up two more approaching from behind me, and so I quickly swung my back leg all the way around to my left side, knocking the gun out the one of the guys hands, and swiftly followed up with a clean punch to the temple. I didn't hesitate before turning to the other man, throwing a punch to his face, which he blocked, but left his stomach open while doing so. I reached my leg up and kicked him right in the ribs, possibly breaking a few bones. As he tumbled backwards, his gun left his hand, and my swift hand caught it, flipped it so I was grabbing the butt of the gun, and quickly trained the guns back at the three men in front of me again, my breath slightly uneven. The boy let out a low whistle and smiled at me, flashing me his perfect smile. The chatter in my ear never ceased but I couldn't hear any of it as the captivating man in front of me spoke.

"Very, very impressive. Sadly, I still have one more gun than you," he said before lowering his own. I thought that was my chance to take out his wingmen, then shot him, but his next words stopped me from doing anything. "Tranq her," he spoke, and I heard a faint whisp before I felt a small prick in my neck. I suddenly felt very tired, and my guns felt too heavy to hold. My legs could no longer support my weight, and they buckled, but I didn't hit the ground. I instead fell into the arms of the boy with green eyes as he peered down at me, my vision blurring. With the only strength I could muster, I spoke, hoping it would come out clear enough.

"I need a drink," I said, right before blacking out completely.
