Graylex part thirteen

It was an early and beautiful morning. The sun was rising and there were barely any clouds in the sky.

Alex woke up. He felt confused...? Just last night there was clearly a boy in his bed and now there wasn't. He didn't understand, maybe he was too stupid? No. That was not it.

He was so cought up in his own world he didn't see Gray entering the room.

Gray: Good morning. Sorry to bother you, I woke up early, couldn't really sleep. I saw your mom on her way out to work, she told me to help myself in the kitchen and wake you up when it's time. I made pancakes.

Alex:..Oh! I see, I was so confused when I didn't....see you in the bed.- he poused, as he realized what he'd just said.

His cheeks became red.

Gray: Yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, are you coming? I made some pancakes for you too.

"He cooked for me?! Now I defintely have to come!"

Alex: Heh yeah, I'm coming.

It was a nice way to start the day. They ate, got ready for school and chatted.

Alex: Hey, there will be a bus coming soon. Wanna take it with me? It would be a bit of a waste to walk all the way from here to school if you can just take the bus.

Gray: Yeah, sure.

"We've gotten so used to each other... A few weeks ago I was planning on asking him out on a date or something... I wonder if I should do that today?"

?: Look at those homo's lol, so gross, am I right mate?

?: Yeah, totally, I bet the little one moans like crazy every night-

Gray: I sugest you shut your mouth before I knock you out and shut it up for you. Permenantly.- he says, giving a cold glare.

?&?: O-okay man, sorry.

Alex looks at Gray with full amazement.

"Wow! I forgot how threatning he could be, that was SO awesome!!"

Alex: Heh, thanks. I didn't like what they were saying either.

Gray smiles. Alex can feel butterflies in his stomach.

Gray: Anytime.

They get off the bus, Gray hugs the other boy goodbye and he gets flustered just like last time.

Gray: Bye, Alex.

Alex: Yeah, b-bye.

Alex: I'm telling you! It was amazing! His skin was so soft and warm, and he cooked us pancakes for breakfast! I can still feel his warmth~

Ben: Wow man, you two sure are making fast progress, what's your secret?

Alex: Lol idk. He's the one who makes all the 1st moves for some reason...

Ben: Ooo could it be he likes you too?

Alex blushes. The mear thought of the other boy feeling the same way he does makes him happy.

Ben: Welp, whatever the case, there's something going on around here, and I'm going to make fucking sure you two get together, you hear me?! It's my ship...

Alex: Sorry man, didn't hear that last part, your what?

Ben: Nothing. Doesn't matter, what matters is the two of you.

Alex: Yeah yeah. I was thinking about trying to ask him out today, what do you think?

Ben: Well, I think that's a great idea! Go for it!

Alex: Yeah, haha. I will. Thanks for your support man. I really mean it..

Ben: No prob Bob. It's what friends are for, right?

Alex: I'm not Bob, but still. You're awesome, thank you.

Later during the day Alex went to Gray's class.

Alex: Hey Gray, could we talk in private?

Gray: Sure.

Alex and Gray go out into the empty hallways. At this point, the boy with the undercut is going beyond the point of nervous.

He's been putting off the question of asking Gray out for awhile now, and the after affects are coming back to him.

Gray: So, what did you wanna talk to me about?

He goes red. At this point his intentions were pretty much obvious.

"I wonder if he already knows... I mean, my face is burning up like crazy..."

The boy breethes in and out deeply.

Alex: Okay, so, the thing is -he whispers- Will you go out with me?

Gray: Hm? Sorry, what?

Alex: I said- he says hearable now- Will you go on a date with me?

Alex panics. He looks up to see Gray's face, expecting disgust and anger, but instead, he feels soft, warm, adoring lips gently touch his.

Gray's face is slightly blushed.

Gray: Don't tell about this to anyone except the people you can trust with your life. Tell me the details of our little date in text, you have my number from all the the tutoring. I'm free on Fridays and Thursdays. Bye.

Alex was basically losing grip of life, but he was also overjoyed.

Alex: Oh-Uhm-alright-I mean- cool-uhm..bye- he finished shyly.

The green eyed boy was walking down the hall. He kept on touching his lips and if and seemed lost in thought. (But since I'm the author I'll tell you what he's thinking ;))

"Oh God... This actually worked out for me... I got a date AND I just got a kiss on the mouth, and I'm not even mentioning the fact that we shared a bed together... that felt soo awesome... warm, soft skin, touching me... him giving me more attention than I could've ever asked for... Yeah! I'm going to make sure the two of us are THAT close again! Today was my first kiss and I swear it won't be my last!"
