"Go on, take the money and run." The slow but catchy beat of Steve Miller band's Take The Money And Run took over the whole bar who were signing the lyrics on top of their lungs.

Tonight had been more insane then usual; people were ordering refills like their life depended on it and getting so drunk they couldn't walk right. I tapped my finger on the counter that was soaked with booze as I considered the possibilities for this level of desire.

I noticed a couple servers clearing junk off the stage causing the crowd to roar with excitement even more. I titled my head in confusion, peeling my eyes away from the sight and turning my attention towards the customer ordering another bottle of beer. He gave me a wink before heading back to his friends.

The door swung open again while I was mixing a drink, I damn near dropped it when I heard the screams of excitement from the bar patrons.

Oh. My. God.

Seriously?

I was in the know that when I broke away from Cliff he would come back to me like a boomerang. However, I wasn't prepared for his surprise message to me via stage performance.

"How are you guys doing tonight?" Brian said into the microphone as Malcolm and Angus tuned up their guitars from behind him. Autumn and Jolene were standing beside the stage cheering and drinking as they broke into their first song, the anthem Back In Black.

I couldn't help but notice how often Cliff was giving me subtle glances. I did my best to not give in to his charms and the sexual tension but when they strided perfectly into dirty deeds done dirt cheap I couldn't help but dance around, throwing professionalism into the air.

At the end of the little show, Cliff walked up to the microphone Brian was using, nervously testing the sound by tapping his finger. "Now we came here tonight.. so I could show this one special girl how much I love her. Melody, get your pretty self up here girl!"

I laughed nervously, living on the mental extacey as I approached the stage, instantly meeting Cliff's eyes, titling my head in confusion.

"Melody... There's only one way I know how to do this..." his sentence was interrupted by my panicked co worker running up screaming with the phone in her hand.

"It's your Mom Mel." She said sadly. "Things aren't good."
