Chapter seventeen

I picked up the call so that I could hear whatever it is that he has to say
"Hey babe" he said as soon as I picked up the call

"Hi" I said in a sluggish and moody tone

"You read the letter already right?" He asked, knowing fully that I would or should have

"Yeah, I did, and thanks for the piece of advice, and....."

"Oh no I knew you're gonna take it wrongly, I was..."

"Never mind, you don't need to explain to me huh, I don't think you owe me any goddamn explanation baby" I said in a sarcastic tone

"But..."

"I thought I told you now, I said I don't need your explanation" I yelled at him and I hung up the call

The day went so bad for me and I went home in pain, I had to call one of the company's driver to drive me home

"I'm back" I said as soon I got into the house

"Wow, you're early today" my mum said

"Yea"

"Hope you're okay" my dad queried as he saw my face was red

"Yeah, I'm fine" I said

"Hope your day went well" he queried getting more concerned

"Hmm I'm not sure it went well as it used to" I said rather sarcastic

"Oh really what happened" my mum inquired

"Nothing much"

"What do you mean by nothing much" my mum asked getting furious

"Nothing much, well, it's just that my personal assistant and secretary had to drop his resignation letter on my table and some other letter in which he said all those things I never even think you could tell me about my behaviour" I didn't even wait for them to say anything before I ran up into my room in tears

It is Saturday already, you might be wondering, that what is happening on Saturday, don't be surprised or worried it is nothing bad though.

Today is the day that I am finally gonna meet all of daddy's friends, I told you that I have never met them in my ever, I have never, by any chance.

Well I learnt they have sons, but my dad is the only one who has a girl, but that's painful right.

Well it can or might be painful,  but I don't really think it is that painful, or is it? Well I can't say it is or it isn't, cause it can be painful sometimes and it can be very fun and pleasing sometimes

"Oh! It is gonna be fun"
I am so so so so happy, it is like today is gonna be the most interesting and fun day have my life

"Today's the happiest day of my life"

I woke up early today, I could barely sleep, maybe I slept just for an hour.

Laughing out loud, you know that is an exaggeration though, but it is just comprehending the little time I slept and how happy I am, I even slept early so I could wake up early

My dad wore a blue suit and blue trouser, and a navy blue shoe, which actually suits him well

My mum wore a blue evening dress with classic V neck design, and a blue wedge shoe, she looks so awesome in it

"Wow you look adorable" my mum said as I walk down the stairs to meet my parents

"Wow, infact she looks sweet, I must say that ever since I have given birth to you, you have never looked as tantalising as this" my dad exaggerated in pleasure

"Thanks mum and dad"

What am only wearing, is just a blue, off the shoulder long ballerina gown, the gown was flowing and puffy. I like it puffy though.

I wore a six inches heels, so that my cloth won't be cleaning the floor

Laughing out loud, I believe you know that is an exaggeration by the way

Yeah, I packed my hair into a ponytail and weaved the front, I wore a makeup that even the most handsome man on earth will drool over me

Isn't that nice? Awwn it is nice

"You're welcome darling daughter" my mum, and dad said, and my mum quickly pulled me into a tight hug

"We are good to go right, aren't we" my dad asked us

"We sure are" my mum and I said in unison

"Okay then let's go, the driver has been waiting for us all along"

We got outside the house, the driver was already waiting for us, the driver was also dressed formal

Maybe it is for the party

Yea it might be

He also wore a blue trouser and suit

You might be wondering why everyone is wearing blue

But you should know this is a formal party so there's gotta be code for it right

Blue was the dress code

The party is gonna be held in one of their private house here in U.S

Los Angeles

You might be wondering who built the private house, well the four friends built the house, though they built one in each country's, they use to go to U.K, China, and Korea, but this time it is here in U.S

They all have houses in these four countries as well, my dad also have houses there, but he chooses to live here
