I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I reached for my phone, desperately trying to turn off the annoying noise. Finally I managed to make the ringing stop. I rolled onto my back and stared at the roof while I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. As I sat up and did my morning stretched I let out a long yawn. I sat on the edge of my bed as I put my slippers on. My body was still waking up as I grabbed my uniform and went to go shower. The warm water on my face woke me up. After a good five minutes I hoped out and began to dry myself. I put on my uniform and quickly checked my phone phone for any text. As I scrolled through the notifications I saw a message from Sam.
"Eek, yay he replied" I said said to myself as I opened the message. I responded with a simple 'hey' and started on my makeup. Once I was happy with the way I looked I brushed my hair. I loved my hair it wasn't wavy, it was just a nice straight. I just hated the colour, it needed to be a darker brown. I was staring at my flaws in the mirro when I started to think about Sam, how he made me laugh in class and how he had been so nice at lunch. I checked my phone then realised the time
"Shit, the bus will be here in 5 minutes" I yelled as I grabbed my bag and an apple and ran out the door.
I made it to the bus stop just in time, Julie had made the bus wait knowing I would be late. As I got on the bus I went a took a seat next to Julie
"You're life saver," I panted as I caught my breath from running.
"No problem Lilly," said Lilly as she cracked a small smile trying not to laugh. We always sat one seat down from the back seat, like usual the boys took the backseat and were being really annoying and loud.
"So who is the boy going to be this week," asked Julie as she elbowed me in the arm. I blushed and showed her my phone.
"Ooh So it's Sam this week," she said half joking.
Finally we arrived at school, everyone was in a rush to get off the bus, as I was getting off the bus someone pushed me and I fell.
"Are you alright?" I heard a boy ask. I looked up to see dan from my health class, I instantly blushed as he helped me up.
"Yeah I'm fine , thanks for helping'" I said as I brushed the dirt off my dress. I found myself staring into his eyes, they were so blue and perfect. His blonde hair was slightly styled but it had that I just rolled out of bed look, I found it very attractive.
"You should message me sometime, so we can arrange to hang out," he stated.
"Sounds cool," I replied as walked off.
"What was that!?" Ask Julie looking curious and excited.
"What was what," I asked pretending I had no idea what she was talking about. She just looked at me and said " you think he is cute, don't you?" I blushed because she was right he was cute. She gave me that look she gives me when I start to like a boy.
"I don't like Dan, if that's what you're thinking," I stated.
"Not yet you don't but like always you will start to like him, then it will be a new boy," she trailed off. I wanted to argue back but I knew she was right so their wasn't any point.
Before long it was last period, we had health. I wasn't paying any attention, I kept finding myself staring at Dan. He kept talking to his friends and laughing, he looked over my direction and smiled then he signalled for me to text him, so I did.
Lilly
- hey
Dan
- hey cutie
I could feel my face blushing. he called me cutie I thought to myself. We continued texting for the rest of the lesson. Finally the bell rang and we all pulled out of class. I went to my locker and grabbed my things. Before I could walk to the bus stop I felt someone grab my wrist. I turned around it was Dan.
"I was wondering if you want to hang out after school," he asked sounding nervouse.
"Yeah sure, meet at the park at 4," I said feeling confident as I rushed to over to the bus stop.
