Untitled Part 4

I woke up to the soft touch of Dans lips on my cheek. I opened my eyes and smiled a little..

"Good morning beautiful," he said with a raspy voice. He ran his fingers down my arm, sending aliveness through my veins. I sat up and stretched my arms out.

"I'm going to have a shower," I told Dan before walking to the bathroom. I kept on thinking about how he held me and how he ran his fingers across my skin. I smiled thinking to myself I think I might actually like a boy for once. I kept on thinking about it while I was in the shower. I got dressed and walked back into my room. I looked around but Dan was gone. I sent him a text.

- where are you?

Dan

- sorry had to run. But it was nice hanging out, we should do it again sometime.

- yeah I totally agree

I ran downstairs to get breakfast. It was only 10am I was never usually up this early. After break fast I decided to meet the girls at the shops so we could hang out. I walked down to the mall which took about 20mins. When I arrived at the place we usually meet I saw Amelia was already there. We hugged each other and just talked about boys. I didn't bother to mention Dan because she would just make a buff deal out of it. After about give minutes if talking I got a text from the Bella.

Bella

- hey the rest of us are inside and you won't believe who we found, meet us outside KFC x

We walked inside and found them standing outside KFC but they weren't alone. I quickly realised they were talking to a bunch of boys. I started to freak out, I wasn't even wearing that nice of cloths. Just some shorts and loose shirt. I tried to hide my blushing cheeks as I walked over to the group. I noticed Amelia didn't seem to be bothered by the boys being there, she seemed pretty chill. As for me, the minute I noticed Dan my stomach was in a not. I could feel my cheeks burning.

"Hey guys," yelled Bella. I could feel Dan staring at me, It made me feel even more self conscious then before. Lelia gave me a hug, out of all the girls we were closest. We were all talking and having a great time as we walked around looking at the cloths. I'm not sure why the boys stuck around but they did, I can only imagine how bored they would be. Suddenly I felt someone grab my wrist

"I need to talk to you," I recognised Dans voice. I turned around and nodded. He pulled me away separate from the group. I felt nervous, I could feel butterfly's in my stomach.

"Lilly, I um have been thinking about you a lot lately. I wasn't sure if I like you but after seeing you at the bus stop yesterday, I knew that I liked you. So I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" Dans voice was a little shaky and I could tell he was nervous. I thought I would be really happy but I wasn't, I paused and I could see the smile on his face starting to disappear. I felt so bad, I don't know why but I couldn't help it I just had to say it

"Yes, of course I will!" I tried to say it with as much enthusiasm as possible, I guess he was convinced because his face lit up. He jumped up and hugged me, I hugged back but I felt bad. I knew that I didn't like him in that way, I wanted to like him but I didn't. Dan suggested we should just hang out together and leave the group, I agreed. Not to long after the guilt was building up inside me, I couldn't take it.p so I told Dan I was pmt feeling well and left.
