Rhiannon's POV:
I've been here 4 days and I already have gotten into 6 fights with Pansy Parkinson and 2 fights with a Hufflepuff. Let's just say I have 6 months of detention. And of course they are with Professor Snape, who ironically struck a deal with Dumbledore to have me spend detention with him instead of the weird janitor looking guy. What was his name again? Flinch? Filch? Jackass? Who cares!
"Rhiannon?" I heard my name being said. I jerked my head up and saw Blaise coming towards me with a smile. I was in the Great Hall, studying my Herbology book on my free time.
"Blaisey wazy!" I cooed, saying his nickname that I gave him first year.
"Have you since Draco?" he asked sitting down next to me. I looked around the Great Hall catching a pair of onyx eyes on me, in search of Draco. I felt the heat in my cheeks rise, but quickly turned back to Blaise.
"I thought he would have been with you." I stated, with a frown. The bell sounds and I get up grabbing my books.
Severus's POV:
I watched silently as Rhiannon spoke to Blaise. I felt a pang of jealousy as I saw the way he looked at her. Why did I get that feeling every time she was with someone else? She was a student. My student for Merlin's sake. The bell sounds and it seems like it does not faze me while I still gaze at her. I loved Lily. Hint Loved. Did I love Rhiannon? I couldnt!
"Rhiannon wait!" I faintly heard Blaise shout.
"Yes?" she asked.
"You know they hold a Yule Ball when they have the Tri-Wizard Tournaments and I was wondering......" Blaise stuttered.
"Out with it man!" Rhiannon giggled. I silently laughed at her foolishness.
"N-Never mind." Blaise stuttered, walking away and exiting the Great Hall. Rhiannon looks down at the ground and sighs.
~Later(Rhiannon's POV)~
I walked out of Herbology, which is my last class on Monday's, and walked towards the Great Hall, when I spotted Draco.
"Blaise was looking for you during our free period." I told him after catching up to him.
"And do you realize that it was just an excuse to talk to you right?" Draco asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope completely clueless!" I said, sarcastically with an eye roll. Draco laughed and intertwined his arm with mine. We entered the Great Hall and I immediately found Pansy Parkinson drooling over Blaise. Of course she is whoreing herself out. Classic Pansy. I looked over at Draco with plan cooking up in my head.
"No Pansy." Blaise snapped scouting away from her as Draco and I sat across from them.
"So Draco got a date for Hogsmeade yet?" I asked bashing my eyelashes.
"You offering?" Draco teased with a smile. I watched Pansy squirm out of the corner of my eye and smiled.
"Why would you want to go with me?" I asked, putting a hand on his arm. Pansy slammed her hands down on the table and gave me a death glare.
"Tonight we open our school to two other wizarding schools." Dumbledore announced gaining our attention. "Please help me welcome the lovely girls from Beauxbaton Academy of Magic and their Head Mistriss Olympe Maxime." Dumbledore stretched out his hands and the doors to the Great Hall opened to the girls from Beauxbaton. They were all dressed in blue and their Headmisstriss was a freaking giant. Taller than Hagrid. The boys from each house cooed and awed over them which was riduclus. I looked up at the head table and noticed Snape's expression never changed. Nothing gets him does it? I continue to look at him until his eyes flicker to mine making me turn away.
"Welcome Madame Maxime. Now our friends from the North. The proud sons of Dumstrung. And their high master Igor Karkaroff." Dumbledore announced. Oh yeah now it was my turn to drool. I looked over at Pansy, who had the same idea I had.
"Truce?" I questioned.
"Only until after the tournament is over." Pansy replied with an out stretched hand. I smiled and took her hand shaking it firmly. Pansy and I stood up from our respected seats and stood side by side. It was nice to be friendly with her. To bad it was more fun to make her squirm. There was a beat on the floor as the Dumstrung boys entered. They all held walking stick looking things and they used them to make their entrance. After about three minutes of that some sat their staffs down and did some fancy flips and what not. I looked were Filch was standing and saw Viktor Krum enter with his Head Master following. I gripped Pansy's arm like my life depended on it.
"Ow! Rhiannon!" Pansy squealed loud enough for Viktor to look over at us. His eyes lingered for a few minutes and then he smiled, before continuing on his way.
"OH MY GOD!" I jumped, "Pansy you're a genius!" I grabbed Pansy by the shoulders and jumped up and down.
"Have you ever seen such a sight Draco?" I heard Blaise ask. I looked over my shoulder and gave him a glare.
"Let's entertain our friends the best way we can. All stand." Dumbledore announced. Entertain? How? "Mistro, beat!" Dumbledore turned and raised his hands. Words showing above the high table. We had to sing? Why?
"Blah Blah Blah!" I silently sang to myself. After the song ended, the door that was next to the high table opened and Alastor Moody entered.
"Ah Alastor welcome." Dumbledore smiled. The aurora nodded at the Headmaster and took a seat next to Severus. I had heard of this man before but never truly seen him. He was creepier in person.
After the Dumstrung school sat with Slytherin while the other school sat at either the Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw tables. I scoot down next to Pansy as Viktor sat in between me and Draco. I let my eyes secretly wonder around the room. I looked up at the High Table and noticed Snape listening to Karkaroff as he talked. His eyes still on me. I felt my skin begin to heat up as I held his gaze. However having to break it as I heard Pansy's big mouth.
"So Viktor, nice game at the World cup." Pansy drooled. I snorted at her lame pick up line. Pansy elbowed me in the side.
"You call that a pick up line?" I mouthed, "Watch and learn." I turned to Viktor giving him my full attention.
"You look familiar, didn't we take a class together? I could've sworn we had chemistry." I smile, giving my best I want you look. Pansy's face fell and I knew from that moment I one uped her. I felt proud of myself.

~Two days later(Rhiannon's POV)~
"Tonight we find out the three champions for this years Tri-Wizard Tournament." Dumbledore stated, "Sit down, please." Dumbledore lowers the lights and walks over to the cup. We all wait patiently. Before to long the cup turned a red color and shot out a piece of parchment paper.
"The Dumstrung champion is.....Viktor Krum!" Dumbledore exclaimed. Everyone at the Slytherin table cheered as Viktor stood and Dumbledore ushered him towards the door off the side near the high table. A few minutes later another parchment flew out of the cup.
"The Beauxbaton champion is Fluer Delacour." Dumbledore announced and the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw as well as the Bueaxbaton's cheered. Fluer was ushered just like Krum to the side off the High table. The cup turned red again and this time it didnt just spit out one piece of parchment but spit out two. Dumbledore caught the pieces of parchment.
"The Hogwarts champion....or champions apparently....is Cedric Diggory and Rhiannon Black." Dumbledore announced. Me? Everyone went silent and looked at me. I wanted to scream, say that it cant be true.
"Rhiannon?" Blaise whispered pulling me up snapping me out of trance. I walked up towards Dumbledore. I could feel my legs getting heavier and my face getting paler. I walked passed Dumbledore, who followed me with his eyes. I could hear the cup spit out another piece of parchment.

"Harry Potter!" Dumbledore shouted. Some of the students started to get wound up. 3 champions from Hogwarts. This is crazy. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to see Harry get up from his seat at the Gryffindor table. He looked as pale as I did. I gave him a weak smile as he approached me. I put a hand on his shoulder and we entered the room that Dumbledore told us to enter.

Fluer, Viktor and Cedric was standing by the fireplace when Harry and I entered. I sighed and went to stand in the corner away from the others. Harry stood awkwardly in the middle of the room.

"Did you put your name in the cup?!" Dumbledore urged, once he entered the room with McGonagall, Moody, Maxime, Karkaroff and Snape on his tail. I felt my breath catch at the sight of the Dungeon Bat.

"No I swear!" Harry stuttered. Dumbledore looked around the room and didn't see me at first.

"Rhiannon, my dear." Dumbledore mumbled. Everyone in the room turned their attention to me and I felt like I just wanted to run away and hide. I was never the one for being the center of the spotlight.

"Yes, Professor?" I asked stepping forwards and out of the dark corner of the room.

"Did you put your name in that cup?" Dumbledore asked. I sighed and shook my head no. I looked down at my feet and never looked up again until I felt someone at my side.

"Who would put your name in that cup?" he snapped. I looked up and saw Snape.

"I don't know, Professor. I don't have many enemies here." I replied in a whisper.

"Snape will help you both." Dumbledore stated and I snapped my head in his direction realizing that Harry and I were the only two champions in the room. Harry looked like he wanted to die, and I couldnt blame him. I knew Harry didnt like Snape but I knew that he secretly admired the man. I looked up at Snape, which I didnt have to look up to much since he was only a few inches taller than I was, and he looked like he just wanted to leave as soon as possible. I smirked at the faces on both Harry and Snape. It was obvious how they felt towards one another.

When we helped father get free he would tell me stories about his time at Hogwarts. I remember him once saying that Lily Evans or Potter was good friends with Severus but in the heat of the moment Snape called her a Mudblood they stopped being friends. Which was kind of sad if you asked me. I mean after Lily stopped talking to him he had no one. Well no one but people in his own house, which just so happened to be Slytherin. I never let on but when my father would tell me stories I always liked to hear stories about Snape. Those were my absolute favorite, because I felt like I could almost relate. Well at least until before Third year.

"You coming?" someone said, snapping me out of my trance. I looked to see Snape looking at me.

"Coming where?" I asked. Snape rolled his eyes and left. I looked around the room one more time and then hurriedly followed the Potions Master.

A/N: Okay so this chapter is probably not the best but the next chapter is when the real action starts.
