Third Person POV:
On 24 February, the champions, judges and supporters assembled at the edge of the lake for the second task. The merpeople had taken something from each contestant, that 'you'll sorely miss', and the champions were given one-hour to get it back.
For all five champions, that missing something turned out to be an important person in their lives: Hermione Granger was Krum's captive, even though they'd been hanging out for about a day; Ron Weasley was, of course, Harry's; Fleur's little sister Gabrielle was taken to spur her on, while Cho Chang was Diggory's 'sorely missed'. And as for Rhiannon, George was taken to get her tail father's ruffled.
Despite finishing third, it was decided that Harry would be awarded second place after Diggory for saving everyone, that wasn't already saved, and showing 'moral fibre'. Rhiannon got awarded first for her efforts as well.
Rhiannon's POV: Flashback
Harry and I stood out by the pier in our "Bathing suits" and waited for the horn to blow. Neville came up to us and handed Harry what looked like to be gillyweed.
"Seriously? Harry come on you dont need that!" I snorted as he ingested the gillyweed by mouth.
"I do if I want to make it out of this alive." Harry retorted, sticking his tongue out at me. I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior. I turned and faced the lake and waited patiently.
"Remember your Bubble-Head Charm?" I heard Severus ask me in a whisper. I nodded and kept my eyes on the lake. Not daring to look at Severus in the face, scared that I might give something away to anyone who didnt know.
"Welcome to the second task. Last night something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that they'll be on their own." Dumbledore said over a loud speaker.
"You may begin at the start of the cannon." Dumbledore continued. I could hear the horn blow signally the start of the task. I took a big gulp of air and dived into the lake. Once in I quickly used the charm and followed the sounds of the merpeople. Harry and I showed up at the site first. I noticed Fluer's younger sister, Hermione, Ron, Cho, and George all under the spell. I looked at Harry with a shrug. I flicked my wand and undid the bounds that had George in place. I waited as Harry did the same to Ron. I jumped as I saw Krum come to save Hermione. He used an incomplete transfiguration. His head was a shark while the rest of his body was human. I watched as Cedric saved Cho and tap his watch. Telling us to hurry. I never did see Fluer save her sister. I motioned for Harry to save Gabrielle, so he could be the savior. I used all my might and chased after Viktor. I could still hear Harry struggle and I decided to go back. Harry was about out of consciousness when I reached him. I did a quick locking spell to lock his hands in place so I could drag them along with me.
"Harry!" I shouted, even though he may or may not hear me. He opened his eyes and I shot us up towards the top. Once we broke surface I heard clapping. Harry, Ron, Gabrielle, George and I swam towards the dock. I was helped up by Dumbledore.
"Get them another towel." I heard Barty Crouch Sr. demand. I looked around and saw Fluer come over to use.
"You saved her, even though she wasn't yours to save. My little sister!" Fluer smiled, kissing Harry on the cheek.
