Snape's POV:
I walked down towards the Dungeons with Rhiannon hot on my heels. I have to give the girl some credit, she knew how to keep up the pace. Every time I looked at her I could see Lily inside of her. She had some of the same features as Lily and defiantly had her spirit.
"So exactly what will we be going over, Severus?" she asked as we reached the Potions classroom.
"That is for me to know and you to find out, insolent child." I snapped. I didnt mean to be so hateful, but I couldnt help it.
"You dont know do you?" she asked again. I sighed and turned to face her.
"Why do you have to ask so many questions?" I asked in a whisper.
"You should know the answer to that question by now." Rhiannon smiled. That smile. I swear every time she smiled I felt like I was getting weak at the knees and just wanted to kiss her. What am I saying? She is fourteen and my student nonetheless.
Rhiannon's POV:
I smiled at the man in front of me and I could tell that I made something in him change. Something in him changed every time I was alone with him. Which I was hardly ever alone with the man, but when I was I saw the change nonetheless.
"Professor?" I questioned raising a brow. We were a few inches apart and I could feel in breath. Snape snapped out of the trance and nodded going into the classroom.
"So today we will be trying Occlumency." Snape growled, "Have a seat Miss. Black." I nodded and followed his commanded.
"Used properly, the power of Occlumency will help shield you from access or influence. In these lessons I will attempt to penetrate your mind. You will attempt to resist. Prepare yourself! Legilimens! " Snape said a little softer this time.
I looked around the room but didnt see Snape anywhere. Instead I saw Draco and Lucius. I had been staying the night at Malfoy Manor and things did not go as planned.
"How dare you bring that blood traitor into our home!" Lucius screamed. Blood traitor? I am no Blood Traitor. It was in between our Third and Fourth years and Draco's father found out about my father's escape from Azkaban. When I became real good friends with Draco during Second year, his parents were kind enough to let me stay with them when Remus had to go away on business. However that was before they found out about my little adventure with Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Father! Please she has no where else to go." Draco urged. I was hiding behind a wall where no one would see me. I looked around at my surroundings and found Narcissa standing down the hall from me with a small smile on her face.
"Rhiannon!!" I heard Lucius yell. His voice was full of hate. I cringed at his voice, but reluctantly went to him.
"Yes, sir?" I stated, feeling my confidence boosting even though I knew it would not help me in this situation. I bowed my head and hoped that he would let me stay.
"How dare you come here, knowing that you helped your father escape?!" he demanded, raising him left hand.I coward away.
"I told you to empty yourself of emotion! ... Fools who wear their hearts proudly on their sleeves, who cannot control their emotions, who wallow in sad memories and allow themselves to be provoked this easily — weak people, in other words — they stand no chance against his powers! Anyone will penetrate your mind with absurd ease, Black!" Snape hissed, as he broke the Occlumency. I heaved my chest up and down trying to catch my breath.
