Chapter 11: Long Talks and a Potion

Severus's POV:

While I sat at my table in the corner of my bedroom, I thought about events from earlier that day. I remembered how scared I was for Miss. Black when that blasted dragon hit her. I needed to stop thinking about her. It only lead to trouble. And by trouble I mean trouble in the male parts. For some reason every time I think about her smile, the way her eyes twinkle when she laughs, and the way she gets red in the face when someone compliments her or teases her I get a hard on. There it goes again. I could feel it rising and all I could thank about right at this very moment was going to find her and getting my way with her.

I heard a knock at the door and I hurriedly took care of my little problem and went to answer my door. When I opened it I found the one problem to my problem standing in front of me.

"I need to ask you for a favor." she said coming into my room, "And not no one saw me come here. Every one was in bed when I left."

"Are you okay?" I asked, my voice dripping with concern. Even though I hide it very well.

"I need a heeling potion. As you know that blasted dragon got me in the ribs and I didnt want to go all the way to the infirmary." she replied, sitting on my bed. I nodded and went to the bookcase that held extra potions and getting a heeling potion. I handed it to the girl and watched her drink it.

"Thank you." she nodded, "Do you mind if I stay here with you during Christmas vacation?No one will be here that I know."

"I do not mind but if you try anything I swear I will give you detention for the rest of your time here at Hogwarts." I deemed strictly. She nodded and gave me a smirk.

Christmas Vacation (A month later) Rhiannon's POV:

It was officially Christmas vacation and I was not going home. I wished I was, but I knew that my father and Remus needed some time to think about things. I hadn't told them that about the promise I made Severus. I promised to meet George at Honeydukes during the break and I intended to keep it.

"You staying here for Christmas?" Blaise asked, when I walked into the common room and sat down on the couch.

"Yeah my father said that it would be best for me to stay here." I stated. It wasnt a complete lie. He did say it would be better.

"Well have fun and dont open any of these presents until Christmas morning." Blaise deemed. I smiled at him and nodded. I watched as he and the others left to go home. When I was left alone I got up off the couch and went to the Potion's classroom to find Severus.

"Have a good Christmas!" Jasmine and Lindsey smiled as I passed them.

"See you next term!" I smiled back at them. I rounded a corner and rammed into someone. I feel backwards and looked up.

"You have to lurk around a corner?!?" I exclaimed up at Severus, who just smirked down at me.

"Do you know how to watch were you are going?" Severus smirked. I stuck my tongue out at him and took the hand that he had extended out to help me.

"You mind if I hang with you for a while, all my friends, except for Harry went home for the holidays." I asked as we walked side by side to his chambers. Severus didnt say anything but just continued walking. I took that as a he didnt mind. I smiled at my little victory and clasped my hands behind me just like he does. I was currently dressed in a muggle t-shirt that had the words Red Hot Chili Peppers and a picture of them on the front. I also wore black ripped jeans and tennis shoes.
