Sirius's POV:
I know I am probably over reacting about this, however I dont like Snivellus touching my kid. I told the git to keep an eye on her this year, not shack her.
"Sirius, wait!" I heard Dumbledore say.
"Why?" I question, a little angry still.
"This thing between Rhiannon and Severus is not what you think." Dumbledore explained.
"Then please tell me what I should think." I said, a little snappy. I didnt mean to be it just came out that way.
"Rhiannon's name came out of the Goblet of Fire along with Harry's. And as a result I asked Severus to help her. Teach her anything he can. I knew full and well what would happen between the two." Dumbledore explained.
"You knew this would happen?" I asked, raising my brow. Dumbledore nodded. "How?"
"I just knew. Ever since Lily died, Severus has never truly loved anyone." Dumbledore added, "I knew pairing having him help Rhiannon would mend the pieces or at least partially if not fully."
"So you think I over reacted?" I asked.
"Yes, however I think you should keep your promise about not letting her come home for Christmas. She can stay here no problem. If she stays here for Christmas then it will giver her more time with Severus. To mend the pieces of his heart." Dumbledore explained. I thought for a moment and nodded.
"I'll do it." a voice said from behind Dumbledore. Dumbledore moved and revealed Rhiannon.
"I knew you would." Dumbledore smiled, a twinkle in his eye. "You have your mother's determination." I looked at the ground and smiled slightly.
"And my father's attitude." She added with a smile.
"I am sorry for not understanding. However Remus is a different story. I think you are better staying here for Christmas break." I explained. She smiled knowingly and engulfed me into a hug. I nuzzled into her hair and smiled at the sixteen year old.
Rhiannon's POV:
Alright so how do I soften the blow to Remus? I know father might tell him before I do, or even Harry. But I will deal with that later. Right now I have classes and mending the heart of a broken man to worry about. After running into the conversation with Dumbledore and my father I walked back to the Slytherin common room. How was I going to mend Severus's heart? Did he want me to? Did I know how? Obviously I did, otherwise Dumbledore would not have suggested it.
"Rhiannon?" I heard a slightly annoyed Draco ask.
"Yes Draco?" I asked, looking at him.
"Did you really say yes to Weasley brat?" Draco asked.
"Yes I did. However I do not see how it concerns you." I snapped. Man this boy and hating people who were poor.
"It does when Blaise is mopping around." Draco admitted.
"Hey I love Blaise, but he missed his chance when he wimped out the other day in the Great Hall." I sighed.
"He was always a wimp huh?" Draco smirked.
"Not always. I think he was just nervous. Which is understandable." I replied, giving Draco a death glare. How could he say his best friend was always a wimp? Jerk. I rolled my eyes and went up to my dorm. Once I entered I passed out on my bed. It was still Saturday after all.
A/N: This is just a filler chapter so sorry it is so short and not my normal 5 pages.
