Snape's POV:

I couldn't help but feel just a bit jealous standing there watching George Weasley ask the one person I felt like I couldn't live without, to the Yule Ball. I so desperately wanted to do that myself but knew it wasn't just morally wrong but knew it would leak to the Ministry of Magic and get myself fired and her kicked out of school.

"Come you can walk me to my dorm." Rhiannon smiled taking me by the hand and leading me to the dungeons where it just so happened that was where the Slytherin house was. I felt a tingle go up my arm and down my spine as the girl touched my hand.

"I am sorry I ran out on you." she whispered.

"You did what any sensible girl would have done after she kissed her Professor." I nodded.

Rhiannon stopped making me go past her a few steps. "You really think so?" I gave her a weak nod.

Rhiannon's POV:

He gave me a weak nod. "Yes I do." he whispered, "However I would be lying if I said I was glad that you ran out." The last part was barely audible, but I still heard it.

"Are you saying you....." I started, but he interrupted me by crashing his lips onto mine. It wasn't like the first kiss we shared. This one was more hungry. I felt his tongue flick across my lips asking for an entrance and I was more than happy to give him an entrance. The kiss was short and it made me sad when he broke the kiss. I opened my eyes and smiled.

"Go to bed, Miss. Black." Snape whispered, leaning his forehead against mine giving a small smile. Did Snape actually smile.

"See you tomorrow then? For the 'Yule Ball dance practice'" I asked. Snape nodded and then left to go to his quarters. I felt my face fall as I watched him leave with his cloak following behind. I said the password and entered the common room.

"About time you get in." I heard someone say. I turned to see Blaise and Draco sitting on the couch. I rolled my eyes at the two and went up to my dorm. Instead of getting into my pajama's, I just went straight to sleep.

"Rhiannon!" someone shouted. I opened my eyes and saw that the lights where on. I looked over to the clock and it read 9 A.M.

"What?" I hissed sitting up, throwing my legs over the side.

"Have you forgotten what today is?" the girl whose name I think was Jasmine Haney.

"Let me see let me see!" I teased giving her a smile. I stroked my invisible beard.

"Silly girl!" Jasmine laughed, throwing a pillow at me. I quickly went to my closet and grabbed my uniform and got in the shower. Once I got out I dried my hair with a simple drying spell and threw it up in a pony tail. After that I put on some light makeup and went into the common room.

"Agh even with little to no makeup you are still beautiful!" Jasmine whined as I sat down next to her. I gave her a small smile.

"So what time does this thing start anyway?" I asked as Draco, Blaise and Pansy sat down around us.

"Now." a chilling voice hissed. I looked up to see Snape starring at us. I got up and followed closely behind Snape, with the others closely behind me.

"Alright so as most of you know Hogwarts will be having a Yule Ball." Snape started as everyone was in the room that was assigned to us to practice. "Who here knows how to ballroom dance?" I looked around the room and huffed. When I was younger and still living with Remus, we would be silly and pretend to be in a fancy ballroom and dance the night away.
