I hear a familiar voice call my name and I turn around to find Tori waving at me. She walks up to me and I stand up dusting my dusty dress.

"Where's Gabby? " she questions.

"She went into the mansion. She said she had to attend to something. " I reply

"And you let her go alone!? " she asks like a just killed a child. I just stare at her in confusion as she walks towards the mansion. What gives?.

I spend the rest of the free time walking about the open space and staying clear of all the Fratello's. I can't wrap my head around that fartellos words. Where is the female hall? Should I go? What is the worst that would happen to me if I refuse to go? ~God, help me, please.
I can't do this alone. Help me.

After what feels like an hour or two, everyone forms two lines again and I join them. They lead us into the mansion and into corners of the mansion that I've never been in. I don't see Gabby nor Tori anywhere. What's wrong?.

After another horrible walk, we soon approach a room filled with so many manual sowing machines. Each girl walks to a machine each and the boys walk to the corner of the room and start sowing shoes. I have no idea where to sit till I sight Tori sitting somewhere in the room and I sit a seat away from her.

Right behind me is Rachel. ~Toris weird friend. I watch other girls begin to sow and I have no idea how to start. I can't spin or even paddle the thing! I try to copy other girls but I end up getting the cloth squeezed under the needle and I sigh in frustration.

"Here, lemme help you. " I hear Rachel whisper. She walks to my side and stands beside me. She takes hold of my hand and tries to help me put the thread into the needle. Her lips keep coming close to my neck each time she tries to help me spin and I keep moving away in discomfort.

Someone paying close attention would notice Rachel's odd movements and my severe discomfort.

"Rachel! " I hear Tori suddenly scold.

"Fine! " Rachel replies rudely before standing straight and heading back to her machine. What was that all about!?

I try to spin and move the cloth one more time and I scream when the needle dips into my flesh. I struggle to remove my finger for a few seconds and tears start making their way down my face.

"Her first injury. " Tori scoffs.

"You're getting a hang to this place," she adds.

Someone suddenly takes up my hand and I feel my finger engulfed in something wet. I look up to find my finger in Desmond's mouth.

~ gross!!. He pulls my hand out of his mouth and he drags me to my feet... He pulls me till we're out of the room.

"Does it hurt? " he asks when we are finally out of the room.

"Y... Yes? " I reply unsure of how to react to his current behavior.

"What were you thinking trying to run that thing without knowing how to use it!?" He scolds.

"I.. I... Well, it... " I begin to stutter.

"Come here," he commands and we take a few steps till we approach a part of the stone wall leaking clean water. He puts my finger in the water and washes off the blood. He then rips a part of the hem of his shirt and wraps my bleeding finger in it.

My tears keep escaping my eyes as the stinging pain from my finger hurts like nothing I've ever felt.

"Look, I'm sorry I might have acted like a pr*ck. We all have our stories and I'm not meant to vent my anger or frustration on you. Even though you are under my care... For now. " he apologizes much to my surprise. Who knew gaze boy had a gentleman buried in him.

"Look Deborah, silence kills more than whatever we actually may be scared of. I know something's wrong and you have to talk if you want a change. "He encourages as he takes hold of my shoulders. His sweet accent making me want to hear him speak all day.

Should I tell him?. My gaze locked with his.
"It's... " I make to speak but my ulcer decides to kick me in the guts just then.

"Ugh! " I grunt as I bend to hold my horribly aching stomach.

"Deborah!? " he asks in worry. He is the only one who calls me that....  'Deborah'.

"I'm fine" I reply in pain as I stand back up straight.

"It's... It's nothing" I lie avoiding his gaze.

"Why do you think you have to face your troubles alone? "He asks in frustration.

"Because I don't want help from the same people who ruined my life! " I state plainly and honestly.
I begin to walk back towards the room when I remember;

"Thank you. " I show my appreciation for helping me tend to my finger. He simply looks up at me with a disturbed face and I turn back and continue walking towards the room.

Once in, everyone's gaze is fixed on me. 'The new girl who keeps causing drama ' I mentally slap myself on my forehead for somehow making myself the center of attraction.

I take a seat behind the same machine that hurt me and a creepy female with the body of a young lady but the face of an old woman comes to my side and begins to run my machine for me. I notice when Desmond walks back in but I don't look at him.

After about thirty minutes plus, I somehow understand how to run the machine and much to my surprise and pleasure begin to run it over the cloth on my table.

Soon, the metal gong is struck and everyone stands to their feet and form two lines. We start our horrid long walk to the dining room and I find Gabby sitting at our table with red eyes. Tori hurries up to her seat which is adjacent to Gabbys.

"Babe, are you alright? I'm so sorry I left. What happened?" I hear her say with much concern as she takes hold of Gabbys hands. ~ wow! Tori can show concern!?

I walk up to the table and take a seat beside Gabby~ my usual seat.
"I'm alright" Gabby replies with a fake smile and my heart sinks. I have been noticing something off about Gabby ever since I got here. She is definitely fighting a secret battle.

"Are you alright? " I ask her as I take my seat.

"Y... Yeah m good" she replies. I know for a fact she is lying. Take it from someone who has told that exact lie repeatedly between yesterday and today.

I stay silent and the Fratello's bring us our stone bowls and metal cups. I look into my bowl and I have no idea what is in it. It looks greenish and has molds all over it. It... It's bread!!

Stale, strong, spoilt bread!. I nearly throw up but if I try that, the only thing I'd be throwing up are my intestines.

I watch the others as usual begin to munch the digestive hazard in their bowls that they call. ~ food!.
As usual, I grab my metal cup and drink the pure water in it. Roling the water about on m dirty mouth.

I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable with myself as I do now. Gabby is really down and she is awfully silent.

I close my eyes and try to figure out where I could possibly be. I live in Ontario Canada with my family, and one day I wake up in the woods. Meanwhile, we have 4 main forest regions in Ontario.....
My thoughts are interrupted when liquid escape my nose. ~ What the fu*k is wrong with me!?. I wipe off the blood swiftly as I don't want anyone to see it or take me to the white witch.~sorry, madre.

The metal gong is soon struck again and we all rise to our feet. Everyone except for me; 'thank madre for the food'.

We soon walk out of the room. We again are given free time. Tori and Rachel are busy trying to get Gabby to open up and I know I don't belong there. I walk out of the room and begin to roam the mansion. I am not thinking straight as my mind is on every other thing but what I am currently doing.

My thoughts are cut short when I bump into someone and fall to the ground. I look up and I realize might have just outdone myself...
