The MANSION {Madre's Mansion}

RACHEL!! ;.....

Gabby loses the strength and anger she felt earlier on her way here and her intention to scream some sense into Desmond vanishes into thin air.

Seeing him in this state of pain and helplessness makes her wish she could help him or at least attend to his busted knuckles but she knows better than to approach Desmond when he's like this.

Else his knuckles won't be the only things out of place but her jaw would join the limbo line too.

This sight makes her know Desmond sure has feelings for Sonia but if she knows Sonia as well as she thinks she does, she also knows what Desmond did today would make Sonia see him in a different light. What he did would push Sonia as far away as possible for him. She has to do something if not the dear ship she's been pushing would sink to rock bottom.

Gabby walks into the female hall after changing her drenched clothes and finds Tori still hugging the motionless Sonia. Gabby feels guilt eat her up hence she sits on her bed and faces Sonia.

"Sis, I ain't got nothing to say cause I pushed you to this... But if you had the chance to save someone at the expense of your joy and you did do it, do you know that means you love that person a lot more than you think? "Gabby questions Sonia in an attempt to make Sonia connect the dots and understand why Desmond did what he did without her having to say a thing.

"Remember, even a story written by a single person involves a lot of perspectives from its characters.

Every story has more than one side. Be sure you know them all before concluding" Gabby finishes.

"I'm sorry. Get some sleep. "Gabby says as she plants a kiss on Sonia's wet hair and then returns to her bed to sleep.

"GN sis," Tori says finally heading for her bed.

Sonia sits up a few minutes ruminating over Gabbys words before sleep wraps its arms around her.

Sonia wakes up to Rachel's voice whisper yelling.

"What the fu*k do you mean 'bad'!? "

"That was inhuman of you! "Tori's voice whisper yells back.

"Look. I did what I had to so leave it be! It's their cross to carry anyways! "Rachel replies spitefully

"I can't believe you! Sometimes you're just full of sh*t! Don't you know the repercussions of your actions!? "Tori questions. Anger evident in her voice.

"That's not my fu*king problem. They should have thought of this before stepping on my toes!

Look, I told you cause you're my friend. I didn't expect you to be all goody-two-shoes about it! Tori, you're my friend and not my judge. Don't forget that" Rachel replies.

"F*ck you bitch! That was some big ass sh*t! "Tori replies in anger.

"Whatever. Good night" Rachel replies as she lays with her back at Tori.

"Rachel! " Tori calls.

"I said good night! "Rachel replies.

"Waow bitch. You'd regret this. "Tori replies in horror and disbelief as she sits in the dark in worry.

What could these two be discussing? Sonia wonders as the silence pulls her back to sleep.

Sonias POV;...

I wake up the next morning feeling bored.
We take our shower and Gabby has somehow been trying to make me not believe Desmond doesn't love me.

"Just cut to the chase. What exactly did you see or hear!? Did he tell you something we don't know about?? "I shoot at Gabby in Frustration.

"Look, last night I was hell-bent on screaming some sense into him but after seeing the state he was in, I got to realize that there was no need. "She replies and I burn with Anger and Frustration.

"Babe, Desmond hurt himself after you left. He clearly loves you but wants to save you from Madres wrath.

If you think you could take that risk, make him understand that he can. Don't distance yourself from him. Make him realize he needs you just as much as you do him.

Sonia, you two were made for each other. "Gabby finishes and emotions rush at me.

"He hurt himself? "I manage to question.

"Real bad. "She replies.

"He only did this to save me? "I question.

"That's true love. Sacrificing his happiness for your safety. "She replies.

"So he loves me? "I question.

"More than you'd ever know. Look, sis, I don't know a lot of stuff, but this I'm sure off. "She replies and I feel my cheeks burn.

"Aww, she's blushing again. "Gabby remarks.

"Sorry to ruin the moment, but I think we need one last meeting with the team. "Tori cuts looking worried.

"Last? "Gabby and I chorus.

"Sorry. I meant a meeting right now. "Rachel says.

We agree with her and we call the guys. Dana and Timothy's treehouse has been our secret mission draft room.
Gabby, Rachel, Desmond, Ekene, and I get into the little house and I see Desmond doesn't pull his hands out of his pockets the whole time.

We've both been avoiding any form of contact with each other. For some reason, Tori's head works a lot faster than usual today and thanks to her we successfully conclude the escape plan. All that's left is to round up those meant to escape with us and those meant to stay back without our plan getting to the wrong ears.

The rest of the day goes normally till dinner. We are all seated at our usual sits when Madres voice booms.

"Sonia Smith!! Rise and come to me! "Her voice laced with anger. I feel my entire body die in fear and everyone's eyes become glued to me. I look over at Desmond who is staring in confusion and Tori is wearing a neutral look. Rachel keeps eating and Gabby looks at me in worry.

"Are you deaf!? "Madre screams and I quickly rise. I begin the long walk to the podium with all eyes glued to me.

I finally get to the podium and in the next second, I feel a heavy, blinding smack on my face.

"Who is the boy!? "She screams and my heart pops as I fall to the ground.~what boy??
