Darryl was walking in the down a long trail, not going to a specific location. All that could be heard was the sound of the snow crunching under his feet, along with his cold shaking breath. He needed a break. He's been inside for weeks now and havent gone out. His roommate, Zak, has been gone for 2 months, visiting family. Darryl of course didnt mind in the beginning in fact, he kind of enjoyed the house to himself. But about after two weeks Darryl was starting to get lonley. Yes, he called Zak every night, but it wasn't enough. Darryl wanted to see his face, wants to feel his hugs, look him in the eyes. Oh how Darryl missed his best friend.

The air around him was cold, sending shivers down the boy's spine. He stops and takes a deep breath, looking around him. He's wandered so far, he's now in the middle of nowhere. There's a large open field, with a small creek running through it, a large tree, that was now covered in snow, and a small bench under it. Darryl remembered this. This is where he and Zak met. It was part of the town's park, yet nobody really knew about it. It was far behind the large trees of the park, so not many people came here.

~Three years ago~
Zak was walking through the trees, had been told there was a beautiful place behind them from a family friend. As he's walking, he stops. He heard a noise. He paused to listen. It was humming. Zak decided to continue walking, wondering who the beautiful noise was coming from. It was so calming. He turns behind a tree and sees a boy sitting on a bench, under a tree with his eyes closed. He had dark brunette hair, glasses, a black hoodie with red accents, and earbuds in. He looked so peaceful. Like he was in another world. Zak leans on a tree and stares at the boy. He starts to walk over to the boy and sat down next to him. Zak stared at him, reaches out, and touches his shoulder. The boys jumps, nearly falling off the bench. "Sorry.." Zak says slightly giggling. "Its okay..how long have you been here.." the boy mumbles, cringing in embarrassment. "Long enough to know you have an amazing voice." He responds. The brunette looks up at him in amazement. "You thinks so?" His eyes light up. "Of course! Its beautiful." Zaks smiles at him. "I'm Zak" he reaches out his hand to the boy. "I'm Darryl." He says, shaking Zaks hand smiling.

Darryl smiles at the memory. He goes to the bench and sits down. He starts to do something he hasn't done it a while. He starts humming. It gives him the same feeling that it gave him a long time ago. Like he was traveling, into a different demention. He had his earbuds on, blasting his favorite song. He likes this feeling. He finally feels happy. It's like its back to the day him and Skeppy met. He was calm.

~Zak~
Zak walks into the house, expecting Darryl to be there, shocked. Hes finally home, he was supposed to stay at his parents house for another 2 weeks, but he couldn't take it there. "Darryl?" He calls out, but no response. He walks out of his house and runs smack first into his neighbor, Rylie. "Zak! Your back! I think Darryl has been missing you.." she said.  "Oh..about him have you seen him? Hes not home." "Yeah actually, I saw him walking, to which looked like the park, but I didn't see him after that." She said.  "Oh okay, thanks" Zak smiles, then starts to walk away. 'The park huh?'

~Timesskip to at the park~

Zak finally arrives at the park and looks around, no sight of Darryl, he then suddenly remembers, the spot. He starts to walk to the trees, slowly walking through them. He starts to see a large clearing and speeds up. The sound of amazing humming filling his ears. He reaches the clearing and sees just what he wanted to see. Darryl sitting on the bench; blasting music. Zak smiles to himself, walking over to the boy. He sits down next to Darryl, and touches his shoulder. Darryl jumps..almost falling off the bench.. He stares up at Zak in utter shock. "This seems familiar." Zak goofily smiles. Darryl suddenly flung himself onto Zak and hugs him tightly. "I missed you so much.." he mumbled into Zaks shoulder. Zak hugs him back, just as tight. "I missed you too." He responds.
