~Day One~

Zak hummed as he walked through the small coffee shop. A little ding from the door indicates that someone has entered the shop. "Good Morning! How has your-" Zak looks up and stops, completely breathless. A boy with brunette hair, and gorgeous emerald green eyes is smiling at Zak. Zak stands there staring at the boy with, practically drooling. The boy tilts his head slightly. "Hi?" He spoke softly. Zak snaps out of his trance and looks down in embarrassment. He must've looked like such an idiot. "Uh hi, what would you- you like" he says stumbling over his words, laughing nervously. The boy giggles. "Hm..I'll try your peppermint mocha" he says. "Ah ok- name?" "Darryl" The brunette responds. "Okay, should be ready soon.." Zak said.

Darryl goes and sits down at a table to starts to scroll through his phone. Out of nowhere he heard his name being called by a female voice. He looks up to see a girl, with chesnut hair and hazel eyes. Darryl gasps. "Rylie!! I thought you said you weren't gonna be back for another month!!" He said excitedly. He gets up from his chair and hugs the girl. "Awe I know, but my trip got over sooner then expected." Rylie said, hugging Darryl back. "I was sad you were missing Christmas.." Darryl said rubbing the back of his neck, giggling slightly. "Well I'm not gonna so you have nothing to worry about!" She exclaimed. "Yeah your rig-" "Darryl!" Darryl looks over in the direction his name was called from. "Oh my coffee's ready! One second, do you want anything?" He asked. "Dar I don't drink coffee" Rylie laughs. "Ohh yeah" Darryl turns around and gets his coffee, and pays the very attractive worker. (👀)"Thank you!" Darryl smiles, Rylie walks up behind Darryl. "Zak!!" She said. "Hi Rylie! Didnt know you were coming back so soon" Zak said happily. "Yeah, my trip ended early" she said. "Look I gotta go, Darryl and I are gonna hang out, bye!" She said, before grabbing Darryls hand and dragging him out of the shop. "We are-" he said confusedly.

They get out of the coffee shop, and Rylie let's go of Darryls hand. "You know who was?" Darryl asks, referring to Zak. "Mhm, he's a friend of mine." She said, Darryl just nods. "Okay so Darryl, I have our whole day planned out- if you're not busy of course." She said smiling. "I'm not busy no" he said. "Great! Those eye bags say you need a break from stress anyways." Darryl puts his hands up to his eyes. He starts to laugh slightly. "This is why you're my best friend" he said. "I know, now let's go!" She said dragging him to her car. "Can I bring my car home first, or we can bring yours home and we can use mine" he said. "Eh we'll use mine, your house is closer anyways so we can just go drop it off there then get going." She said.

"Hey, I'm gonna go get us some muffins from this shop! What flavor do you want?" Darryl said. They were in the mall walking around, doing some sort of gift exchange with each other. But before they started shopping Darryl wanted to get muffins, of course. "I'll have a blueberry muffin!" She smiled. "Okay! I'll be right back." He said walking up to the counter.

"Rylie? Hi!" Zak said approaching his friend. "I thought you were hanging out with your friend?" "Darryl? I am, hes getting muffins." She smiled. "Oh, he seems like a..cool friend." He said. "I ship it." Said Rylie matter of factly. "I- what- I dont even know the dude-" Zak said. "Yeahh but I think you guys would be cute togetherr" she said drawing out the R. "I- no-" Zak says, his face going red. "Ooh, your blushing Zak" she said. "I- no I'm not- Goodbye Rylie" he said walking off. "Noo! Zak I'm sorry!" She said. She laughs to herself as Zak walks off. Soon after Darryl arrives with the muffins. "Okay so tell me what were doing" he said handing her the muffin. "Okay so.."
