Dinner is a great success, mom showed off with the food and I keep my promise to behave. In the end, we meet again in the living room and spend the next several hours talking about Hannah and Edward's wedding.

As expected, Matthew tells me that Mom invited him and that it would be an honor to take me as her date. I thank him like the educated woman that I am and we agree to go out the next day to get to know each other better so it is not so uncomfortable at the wedding.

Once it's gotten late, he says goodbye, thanking everyone for such a lovely evening, and reminds me that he will be picking me up tomorrow at 7:00 pm for dinner.

It is nice to be with the family again and catch up on everything that has happened. My brother and his wife tell us that they are expecting their first daughter and we all shout with happiness. My sister reminds us of the agenda for the next few days and after a while, we all say goodbye and go to sleep.

Being in my old room brings back a lot of memories, not of things that had happened, but rather, adventures that I wanted to live.

The most radical thing I ever did was get a tattoo, my mother almost had a heart attack because it is not something small, I have the phrase "love is made for the foolish" on my left ribs. I did it to remember that love does not listen to reasons.

And that's why the idea of giving Matthew a chance doesn't sound so bad. I doubt I will ever love him, but he wouldn't be the worst husband, I suppose, if we come to that.

The only one who thinks otherwise is David, who says that Matthew is an immature egocentric and that has not change at all. I think he only wants to protect me.
