Chapter 9 Nickolas Hunter

Nickolas:
I know what you are thinking, and yes I accept it, the only reason I wanted to come and play at this wedding (which I have never done because I hate them), is Eliza.
I had blocked everything that reminded me of those times with her.

But I admit that nothing prepared me for what I would feel once we were only meters away. She is still as cute as the last day I saw her.

Her hair is black now and it looks much better than that hot pink color she had when I met her.

Her figure is now that of a mature woman, she is no longer the ultra-slim young girl I met.

Her beautiful gray eyes look at me, I can see them shine with surprise and emotion, without a doubt I have caused a shock because she seems oblivious to everything else, I notice it especially because she is startled when Hannah speaks in her ear. But after a while, she leaves the room and I don't see her again until our set is over.

Now, I am socializing a bit and I find myself (unfortunately) very close to Eliza's parents; Giovanni and Marissa Cooper.

Marissa always liked me and I think I also liked her, Giovanni, on the other hand, is not my biggest fan and if it were up to me, right now I would be taking him by the neck for everything he told me so many years ago, taking advantage of the fact that I was very young and certainly didn't have much to offer.

When I think of leaving because Eliza does not appear, I hear the moron who is with my ex-in-laws, say: "Hello my love, where were you?" When I see him say it to Eliza, I feel like breaking his face just for talking like a complete idiot.

And as always, just as I'm walking towards her to greet her, Giovanni gets in the way and pushes her away, so I decided to look for David, he was still my friend even after breaking up with his sister.

-Hey, but if it's the famous Nickolas Hunter! WOW, thank you for honoring us with your presence and talent brother, would you give me an autograph? -

This idiot always makes me laugh, he's like the brother I never had, that's why our hug is genuine.

-Shut up, idiot! Don't make me laugh I'm trying to look intimidating.-

-Hahahaha, I guess you saw Matthew, Eliza's new prospect and you hate him just for that. Everyone else loves him.

-You read my mind. Since when are they together?

-A couple of weeks, the truth is that they are not together, at least not officially but it is a matter of time, I already told you that everyone loves him and my parents are thinking of uniting the families.-

-And why is that?- I'm not very interested in that moron, but if it's Eliza, then I want all the details.

-His father and mine have been good friends since college and apparently, the boy is one of the best surgeons in the state, so you can imagine how perfect he is for Eli, besides he is only a year older than her. -

-Perfect idiot maybe, - I say and we both laugh at the expense of that rich kid, I note that we are the same age, 29 years old.

David and I put the subject to rest and catch up on our lives.
