My suitors chose to let chance decide who would have the first date advantage, and yes, I mean a coin toss.

-Hello doll,- says Nick with a smile,

-Hi Nick, where are we going?- I feel a bit excited after Hannah convinced me to take advantage of the fact that two handsome men are fighting over me and that I should enjoy every date.

-Do you remember our first date? ...-

I remember that it had been very simple, well Nick could not afford the luxuries that he has now, so on our first date, he took me to eat pizza at a rather quaint London bar.
I had never laughed so much, the people were more Irish than English, so the music was much more upbeat and we didn't stop dancing the whole evening.

But now, Nick was taking me to one of the most expensive and exclusive restaurants in town.

-It's not exactly what I imagined when you talked about our first date ... This place is too expensive Nick.-

-Well, that time I didn't have much to offer, I remember that even with your crazy pink hair, you looked out of place in that bar. You were too sophisticated, too cute for that. Now that I can give you everything you deserve, I will spare no expense; You deserve the best.-

The satisfied smile on his face was too cute, I had never seen him so happy. It was contagious.

Nick sang many love songs for me, and he made me feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

I spent the weeks with Nick, going to exclusive places and receiving the most beautiful gifts. Without a doubt, Nick was proving that he could give me the life that he claimed I deserved.

He even told me that I shouldn't work anymore, I could stay home with "the children" that we might have in the future. I could only smile at the idea.

At the end of our last day together, he said:

-Well, now it's up to the other moron to try to win you over. I want him to do something wrong, but I doubt it. - He smiled but his smile didn't reach his eyes.

He continued -I want you to know that, you have been my biggest inspiration during all these years, and I am sorry I didn't fight for your love before. I could swear it was because of the words "not fit for my girl" that your father used the last day I saw you, but no, I was just a coward. I knew I could do more to earn his respect, but I chose to walk away-

-Why do you say that now? -

-Because as much as I hate Matt, I know that he has changed for you, and I would hate if you chose me just because of our past.-

After saying that, he kissed my cheek and left.

Nickolas Hunter, my first love, had given me a lot to think about.
