Chapter 32 Explanations

-Come on Sophie, let's meet your baby cousin Joel! - David says, taking his daughter in his arms.

When they get to the bedroom, I'm gently stroking Matt's hair as he sleeps soundly next to Joel. My little boy is the spitting image of his father, only his little eyes are as gray as mine, but even his hair is curly like Matt's.

-Shsss, he just fell asleep, - I tell my brother and niece who are excited to see Joel.

-Look Sophie, that's your cousin Joel, you are going to be very close and you will always take care of each other.- I tell the little girl.

The two are a few months apart, so we all believe that they will be as close as me and my siblings are.

Sophie goes to play with Samuel, Hannah's baby, who is a few months younger than Joel, while their grandparents watch them.

The rest of us gather in the kitchen, letting my two loves sleep peacefully.
