Giselle POV: first day of junior year at chilton:

I look in the mirror after getting dressed in my new uniform. I look all preppy and I have to say, I love it. My hair is in its natural wavy form as usual and it doesn't look half bad. I've finally figured out the right products to use, so that's good. I head out of my giant bed room and down to the kitchen to grab an Eggo for breakfast. I open the freezer, take one out and pop it into the toaster. I get impatient and take the eggo out and toss it onto my plate. I take the plate to the dinning room where mom is and sit across from her.

"Morning." I greet her.

"Good morning, are you excited?" she asks and takes a bite from her toast.

"About?" I ask and take a big bite from my eggo.

"Your first day of school, dummy."

"Yes and no, but I would be more excited if you could drive me there, and come with me to the headmasters office. You know, the things a mother is supposed to do on their child's first day at a new school.'' I say and gobble up the last piece of my eggo.

"I already told you, i have a surgery." she says.

"Can't your liver transplant patient wait an hour?" I ask but all I receive is a glare from my mother, the great Dr. Grey. "yes, i also heard how that sounded. It's a beautiful day to save lives and all that. Now, I've got to go if i want to make it on time." I say and get up from my seat.

"Kiss." she says and i walk over and give her a kiss on the cheek then run out the door with my grey backpack and car keys. I get in my black car and start driving to Chilton. This is the first time I drive there so I hope the map is correct.

After a few wrong turns I finally make it to the chilton parking lot with the rest of the expensive cars. I park in the parking space my mother managed to get me and get out with my backpack and transcripts. I lock the car doors and look up at the huge school. It's so huge it's almost scary. Seriously, what's with the gargoyles.

I'm supposed to be meeting the headmaster now but the thing is, I have no freaking idea which building is the Ambrose building. That's where headmaster Charleston's office should be.

I exit the parking lot area and walk up to some random girl who looks about my age. She's talking to a woman a bit older than her, probably her mother but they look more like sisters if you ask me.

"Um, hey. Sorry to interrupt your discussion but I can't seem to find the yellow brick road leading to the headmasters office. Do you know where it is?" I ask them.

"Yeah, it's right in there. I'll take you." the girl tells me.

"Great, thanks." I thank her and adjust my vest.

"Bye mom." she says.

"Bye kiddo. Have a great day, don't learn too much." she says and the two of them hug and the mom rides away in her jeep.

"It's just this way." she says and starts leading the way. We enter one of the buildings and start walking up the steps. "So are you a new student?" she asks me.

"Uh, yeah. I just moved here in the summer." I tell her as we continue to walk and pass a few kids and lockers.

"Cool. i didn't get your name." she says.

"Giselle. Grey. you?" I ask her.

"Rory Gilmore, so where did--" she begins but gets cut off when she bumps into a blond boy, who is also about 17.

"Watch it, Tristan." she warns him.

"Hey, you bumped into me." he answers her. "And who's this?" he asks looking at me.
