Happier :) - Frerard

"Gee, no," Frank mumbled hopelessly, tangling his fingers tightly between each other as his thumb nail picked at the skin on his palm by the little timer on his wrist that had long since reached zero. "Gee, we don't know how she'll react!"

Gerard shushed Frank gently, pressing the green speaker phone button and holding his phone out so the shorter could hear the dull ringing sound. Mrs Way picked up fairly quickly, answering with a cheery hello and waiting to hear what her son had to say.

Gerard reached out, his hand latching onto one of Frank's, preventing him from scratching at his skin, before responding to his mum, "Hey mum."

"Is there a reason for your call, darling?" his mum asked sweetly, not minding that her eldest son had decided to call her out of the blue but questioning if he had ulterior motives to a friendly chat.

"I'm gay," Gee stated firmly, not beating around the bush with this one, instead getting straight to the point.

"What about Pansy, I thought she was your soulmate?" Mrs Way asked, her voice drifting through the phone.

"You mean Frank? Yeah, he's my soulmate," Gerard answered calmly while Frank continued to panic next to him.

"Right, so, are you and Frank still coming for lunch next Sunday?"

"Yes, Mrs Way," Frank replied, finally joining in on the conversation. "Gerard and I will be over at eleven next Sunday for lunch, just as we had planned."

"Ahh, thank you Frank. You keep my boy in line, okay?"

"Of course, Mrs Way, the world can't run on Gerard time, no one would ever get anything done!"

"Well, it was lovely talking to you boys, but I need to go now to take Mikey to whatever he's doing now. Call me whenever, bye."

"Goodbye Mrs Way, see you next Sunday."

"Goodbye mum," Gerard mumbled before hanging up and turning to his boyfriend. "See Frankie, nothing to worry about. My mum loves you, always has, always will. She probably loves you more than she loves me!"

Frank wrapped his arms around the taller's waist burying his face in his boyfriend's chest.

"Fine," he groaned. "You were right."

Gerard chuckled slightly, returning his boyfriend's hug. It didn't matter that he had originally fallen in love with Pansy because Frank was Pansy, just more honest, more open and much, much happier.

Told you it was happier! :))
