My mind was in jumbles. So many questions went racing through my head unanswered along with random thoughts of no relevant meaning. Like what was the dark energy, stronger than anything Danni had sensed before, why was it so important that he would come to my school, how was Sam able to see Danni if only Elemental Masters could see him in invisible-mode cause he definitely could, who was the Bounty Hunter tracking me that Danni spoke of, how did he know my Elementum Moderatrix had developed, and why, did I have such a strong craving for bananas?
Due to my current position and knowledge level (at that point in time), I was only able to find the answer to one question or at least find a decent solution to my many questions.
As I was stumbling towards the canteen, my head full of questions, to get some bananas I heard random screams and shouts. Ugh, there must have been some fight or something. As I passed the girls toilet my feet were submerged in water.
NOOOOO, these were my favourite shoes, a day I thought couldn't get worse just did. I decided to go to the loo to drain all the water from my shoes. The closer I got to the toilet, the higher the water rose. When I was like six feet away from the door the water was above my ankle. I really pity the man who had to fix these mess. Poor plumber.
Anyway, I took of my shoes and began to roll up my jeans so that I didn't get wet as well, when I saw Megan run out of the toilet, might I say that it was the BOY'S not the girl's, screaming like a little girl.
‘Hey what happ...’ I started to shout to Megan who continued to run up the corridor when Tommy also came out screaming in a higher pitch even than Megan.
‘What the fu...’ I started again but this time I was not able to finish as both of them were already halfway up the corridor leaving a trail of water behind them as their clothes were drenched.
That was when I realised the source of the water was from the toilet, not only that but the water was still rising rapidly. Something must have happened inside that caused Megan and Tommy to scream like goats being flogged. I would have to find out why those two were both in the same toilet later but I think I already had an idea which involved me being right about Megan. For the first time my judgement was better than Sam's (nobody should ever tell him that I said that).
Anyway, I reluctantly opened the door... Oh come on give me a break; as if you were the one to see two people running from a toilet screaming with water rising from under its door at the same time, you wouldn't be scared. Huh, you wish. So by opening the door, it became evident that I had the heart of a lion.
Anyway, when I opened the door, I didn't see what I was really expecting to see but since when have I really. It was Sam! He was in the middle of the toilet kneeling on his knees resting his hands on the ground like a dog. Yeah I just compared my best friend to a dog. It’s the only thing that comes to mind as a good comparison. He was the only thing in the toilet that wasn't wet. All the tiles, facets, urinals, etc. had been completely demolished, either cracked or shattered into a million pieces. All the pipes had burst making water sprout from every possible point. I guess that was the reason for the rising water. Now the water in the toilet was knee high.
‘Sam, wh, wh, what happened,’ I stammered.
He didn't reply. He just continued to breathe really heavily. His breath smelt like seaweed and saltwater.
‘Sam.’ I said much louder this time thinking he didn’t hear me the first time over the sound of gushing water. At least this time he turned towards me revealing his eyes.
‘Sam.’ I said again fear clotting my throat as I backed up against the wall.
His eyes were glowing a bright blue.
‘What's happening to me,’ he said in a voice as scared as mine.
After looking at him in utter trepidation for a few moments I was able to spurt out a reply.
‘I...I...I don't know,’ I continued to stammer, ‘were you the one who did this.’
‘I'm not sure,’ he said.
He tried to stand but he immediately stumbled back onto his knees.
‘Careful bro, let me help you,’ I said making my way through the water trying to conceal my fear.
‘Don't worry, I got this,’ he said in his usually cocky voice, at least his pride was still intact.
As he rose to his feet, he was like 2 feet taller than me. That was strange because I was usually taller than him. As I checked him from top to bottom, I realised that he was standing on top of the water instead if submerged in it like me.
   My first two thoughts were:
A. Thank God I'm still taller than him
B. WHAT THE HELL, HE'S STANDING ON WATER.
On realising this, I backed up against the wall even more until my head hit the wall with a surprisingly loud thump. It wasn't every day that you realise you have supernatural powers, have a strong craving for bananas, see that your friend has glowing eyes and can walk on water. He probably was the one who caused the water leaks. Now I was sure I was going mad.
I guess now I understood why Megan and Tommy were screaming so loudly cause mine was three times louder and pitchy.

‘AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...’ I went on screaming for 2 minutes before regaining my composure but not my dignity cause I screamed like a little girl.
Wait. It made sense finally putting all the pieces together; why Sam was so good at swimming, I mean he became school captain in our freshman year and broke the Gropton record, why his eyes always changed colour be like the various colours of water, why his clothes where not wet even though he was surrounded in water. Danni said there was another Elemental Master in my school and I had found him without even having to look for him.
Panting like I had just ran a marathon I said in almost a whisper. ‘Dude, I think you’re the one who controls water.’
‘What,’ he said looking at me perplexed.
‘Dude, you’re an Elemental Master, the Elemental Master of Water.’
