‘OH CRAP,’ I thought to myself this wasn't going to end well.

I just knew it. Why would he (I've decided that “he” is a “he” not an “it”) even come to my school. How did he even get out I was sure I locked the door. I swear to God if he broke my door...

Doesn't he know that it's not normal for panthers just to stroll around a school? Clearly not. Now everyone in my class had seen him and probably half the school on his way up here, as my class was on the top floor of a three-storey building.

I rushed out of the class to confront him when Sam called me.

‘Kyle what the hell are you doing?!’ he shouted on me.

‘Don't worry I've got this,’ I said looking back with a smirk on my face.

Frankly, I didn't. I had no idea what I was gonna do when I met Danni but I was sure he was gonna receive a serious flogging unless he had a valid excuse.

I swung the door open with so much force that I thought it might remove from its hinges. I just couldn't contain my anger. I was furious with Danni. Maybe even if he had a valid excuse I would still thrash him just to prove a point.

By that time I had reached the corridor and was standing over Danni. I knelt in front of him ready to scold him but he interrupted my train of thought with on simple four-letter word.

'STOP.'

‘What?’ I said completely flabbergasted.

‘Before you go on I have a valid excuse so you’re not gonna beat me,’ replied Danni.

‘What. How did you know...’ I started.

‘Our minds are connected remember I can see all that you think and in time vice versa,’ he said.

‘Well that's not creepy at all,’ I replied sarcastically, ‘so then why are you here’.

‘I come with news, very bad news,’ said Danni.

‘Tell me something I don't know,’ I said not even phased by the fact that he came with news bad enough that he would come to my school.

‘Okay then I will, it turns out that you’re not the only Elemental Master on the school premise,’ said Danni.

Now that was something that surprised me.

‘WHAT,’ was all I was able to say.

‘You heard me I said that you’re not the only supernatural in your school. The person should be someone your age so check among your classmates for anybody who could express extraordinary abilities,’ he said.

‘Yeah, I’ll just go around asking people if they have supernatural powers. Great idea,’ I replied sarcastically.

‘No, that’s a terrible idea,’ replied Danni bluntly.

Did he not understand the concept of sarcasm?

‘Well how will I be able to know who is ordinary and who isn't?’ I asked ignoring his ignorance.

‘That is for you to find out young one,’ replied Danni.

‘Pfft, you’re calling me young one when you’re a baby,’ I said.

‘Whatever you say o wise one,’ said Danni sarcastically.

Ah, so he did understand sarcasm, what a prick.

‘Awwww, my sarcasm is already rubbing on you,’ I stated, ‘well I guess if you’re not gonna  tell how to track down the Elemental Master, tell what else is to important that you would come to my school to tell me cause surely it's not only that?’
