Chapter 8

"Una na ako sa labas, Mitchay! Kita na lang tayo doon!" Chelsea shouted.

I hurriedly get out from our room to stop her but I am too late. Nakalabas na siya. Paano na ako ngayon nito?

I just sighed and go back inside to continue dressing up.

This is the day we can roam around in whole Natudna Island. Dahil bukas ay babalik na kami sa resort.

I am wearing a pair of slipper when I heard a couple knocks on the door.

Kumunot ang noo ko, "Chelsea came back?"

Tinapos ko na lang lahat ng ginagawa at para makalabas na ako.

All fixed. Naka-ayos na rin ako ng maayos.

Hindi pa nakalipas ang ilang minuto when I heard again someone knocks. Baka si Chelsea yun at binalikan ako.

So I decided to go out already. Baka iwan pa ako ng babaeng yun.

Hinawakan ko na ang door knob at binuksan ang pinto.

Stilled. That was my reaction when I fully opened the door.

"W-what are you doing here?"

"Good morning," nakangiting bati ni Sean.

He's wearing a plain white shirt and top it with a jacket. Sean's also wearing a slacks. Asan punta nito?

He smiled again, at ayan na naman ang kabog ng puso ko.

I calm my self and breathe deeply before I get out from our room and close the door.

"Ahm... Paano mo nalaman na dito ako. I-I mean na nandito ang room namin?"

I can't look at him! My heart beats fast. Oh my gosh! Kumalma ka nga puso. Gusto ko na talaga siya. Ganito pala magkagusto sa isang tao?

I heard him chuckled so I forced my self to look at him.

"A-anong nakakatawa?"

Umiling siya habang tumatawa parin ng mahina, "nothing. You look tensed."

Do I look obvious?

I diverted my gaze and leave him there. Nauna na akong lumakad. Gosh! Baka marinig niya ang tibok ng puso ko.

Pero hindi pa ako nakakalayo ng may pumihit na sa braso ko.

"Hey, I'm just kidding."

"I need to go Sean. Hahanapin ko pa si Chelsea," I excuses while I am facing him my back.

And still, his hand is on my left arm.

"Chelsea? Yung kaibigan mong babae na kasama mo kahapon?" he said, slowly loosen his grip on me.

I composed my self and faced him, smiling a bit. "Yes. Did you saw her?"

He nodded, "yep! Actually, nauna na siyang mag libot dito sa isla."

My eyes widened, "what? She left me?"

"Ewan ko doon sa babaeng yun. Basta sabi niya, ikaw lang mag-isa. Iniwan ka nga niya. Pero ako hindi kita iiwan," Sean stated. He even winked at me!

"Charot lang Mitchie. Ang seryuso mo kasi!"  dugtong pa niya.

Charot.

I saw that word before in facebook. It means joke.

So biro niya lang yun?

I forced a smile. "So, I'm going to roam around by my self? Wala si Chelsea e," I respired deeply. "Una na ako,"
