"Quinn! Puck's here!"
Quinn took a deep breath as she exited her bedroom and looked at the boys who had just returned.
"Hey." Noah said softly.
"Hi." Quinn replied.
"It's good to see you again." Noah told her. "Thanks for letting me crash here."
Quinn nodded as she turned to Finn. "So I should get out of your way."
"No, you're one of us." Finn smiled. "We're just gonna play video games and order food and hang out."
"Until Finn ditches us to go see Rachel." Noah added as he turned to Quinn. "Rachel doesn't like me."
"I don't think I've met her." Quinn said. "I don't remember Santana introducing me."
"Santana hates her." Finn told Quinn. "Well, Rachel hates Santana. I don't know if it's mutual."
"She sounds like a great girl." Quinn muttered.
"Finn's had this thing with her since, like, high school." Noah explained. "They used to sneak around, but just to kiss and no one else really cared and then they dated for a year and almost got married and-"
"Alright." Finn cut Puck off.
"You almost got married?" Quinn asked, looking at Finn.
"Yeah." Finn said. "We were eighteen and stupid and everyone was convincing us not to so at the church we finally chickened out."
"And it was a good thing, too, because my best man speech wasn't gonna be good." Noah smiled.
Quinn smiled as she looked at Finn. "I can't believe you almost got married."
"I told him he was crazy." Noah added. "I almost got myself uninvited to the wedding, but I don't believe in marriage anyway."
"That's because when you're married, you're not supposed to sleep around." Finn noted. "You could never commit to one girl forever."
Quinn bit her lip as Noah shrugged.
-
"I'm going to meet Rachel." Finn said as he got up from the couch. "You're not gonna tell Quinn all the embarrassing stories about me, are you, Puck?"
"I could start from the beginning." Noah noted. "I think we were five or six, right?"
"Shut up or I'll text Rachel to come hang out here." Finn responded.
"You should." Quinn suggested, not ready to be alone with Noah yet. "Since I haven't met her yet."
"Rachel's not gonna like you." Noah shook his head. "A pretty blonde girl living with her boyfriend."
"Finn and I are friends." Quinn stated.
"Finn probably hasn't even told her you're here." Noah said.
"It hasn't come up." Finn shrugged as he looked at Noah.
Noah made a face, but shook his head. "I'm not getting involved."
"Good." Finn said. "I'll see you guys later. Be good, Puck."
When Finn was gone, Noah looked at Quinn.
"It's getting late." Quinn noted. "I should go to bed."
"It's, like, nine o'clock, Grandma." Noah replied.
"I'm tired." Quinn said.
"If you didn't want me staying here, you could've told Finn." Noah noted.
"This isn't about you." Quinn insisted.
"Then what's it about?" Noah wondered.
"Nothing." Quinn replied. "I'm fine. With or without you here."
"But you're not mad at me because we agreed it was a one-time thing." Noah stated. "Right?"
"You're really full of yourself if you think I've been spending all my time being mad at you or even thinking of you." Quinn responded.
Noah looked at her. "Really?"
"Really." Quinn said.
"Okay." Noah nodded. "Well, I've thought of you."
"Really?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah, I kept myself busy with work to distract myself." Noah admitted. "'Cause that doesn't usually happen to me."
Quinn looked at Noah.
"Well, Finn's gone. We could do it one more time." Noah shrugged. "If you want."
Quinn nodded. "To get it out of our systems."
