In the morning when Quinn woke up, she had the bed to herself. She sat up and grabbed her phone from the nightstand. She dialed Santana's number and put the phone to her ear, laying her free hand on her tiny baby bump.
"Hey, Tubbers." Santana answered the phone. "How's L.A.?"
"It's good." Quinn said. "Noah asked me to be with him."
"He did?" Santana asked. "What did you say?"
"He told me to think about it and then we went to bed." Quinn responded.
"Did you think about it?" Santana wondered.
"I've been thinking about it for months." Quinn answered. "Us being together and raising a baby together."
"And?" Santana questioned Quinn.
Quinn paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "Would you be mad at me if I stayed in L.A.? Like, permanently?"
"Mad?" Santana repeated. "Why would I be mad?"
"Because you're my best friend and we would be living across the country from each other." Quinn pointed out.
"We'll talk and visit each other all the time." Santana promised. "I'm sure Puckerman has room in his mansion for me."
"Yeah, I can't wait to show you it." Quinn replied. "I've been calling it the Puckerman Palace and he hates it."
Santana laughed lightly. "We'll have to remember to tell Finn, too."
"We will." Quinn promised.
"And speaking of Finn, did you tell him you're gonna stay in L.A.?" Santana wondered.
"I haven't even talked to Noah yet." Quinn said. "But I will."
"Good." Santana stated. "L.A. will be good for you. You've always wanted to get into film, so you'll take a break for the baby and I'm sure when you're ready for a movie deal, there'll be offers waiting for you."
"I hope so." Quinn smiled.
"I'm really happy for you, Quinn." Santana added. "I haven't seen you this happy in a while."
Quinn's eyes teared up as she felt the baby move. It was a flutter, but it was unlike anything she had ever felt before.
"Thanks, Santana." Quinn said as Noah entered the room. "I'll talk to you later."
Quinn hung up the phone and put it down.
"Hey, I just came to see if you were hungry." Noah said. "Were you crying?"
Quinn nodded. "I just felt the baby move."
Noah smiled. "Really?"
"It's a flutter, but I haven't really felt it before and..." Quinn trailed off as she wiped her eyes.
Noah sat down on the bed and looked at Quinn.
"I wanna talk to you." Quinn stated.
Noah nodded, taking Quinn's hand and encouraging her to talk.
"So Finn and Rachel are getting married." Quinn began.
Noah nodded. "Finn asked me to be his best man."
"He did?" Quinn asked.
"I told him as long as the baby stays put that day, I'll be there." Noah said.
Quinn nodded. "Well, I won't be able to go since I won't be able to fly."
"Well, we could take the train from New York to Ohio." Noah suggested.
"We're not gonna be in New York." Quinn shook her head.
"What are you talking about?" Noah wondered.
"I think we should stay in L.A." Quinn noted.
"What?" Noah asked.
"You have the space and you can still work." Quinn pointed out. "Besides, Finn and Rachel wanna move in together so I kinda need a place to stay."
"Are you sure you wanna be here? What about all that stuff you said?" Noah questioned Quinn.
"L.A. will be good for me and for us." Quinn stated. "And if I'm here, I get to avoid Rachel being a bridezilla."
Noah smiled. "You really wanna be here?"
Quinn smiled and nodded. "I want all of this to work. I want us to be together."
Noah grinned as he gently cupped Quinn's cheeks and kissed her.
