Things changed when Quinn decided to stay in L.A. After Noah's family left, Quinn and Noah started going on dates and hanging out. They talked about the baby and their plans for the baby and for the future.
"Hey." Noah smiled, greeting Quinn with a kiss as he entered the house. "Did you call Finn yet?"
"Not yet." Quinn replied. "I will though."
"You've been here almost a month." Noah noted. "You have to tell him, Q."
"I know." Quinn said. "Can we at least wait until we know if the baby's a boy or a girl so I have something good to tell him, too?"
"Okay." Noah sighed. "But you have an appointment coming up, right?"
"Yeah, in a few days." Quinn answered. "We can find out then."
"Okay." Noah said. "What about your mom? Did you call her?"
Quinn shook her head.
"You're gonna wait until we know if it's a boy or a girl, aren't you?" Noah guessed.
"No, I should call her." Quinn said.
"You want me to call her with you?" Noah offered.
"No, it's okay." Quinn replied as she got up. "I'll be right back."
Quinn excused herself and went upstairs. She dialed her mother's number and put her phone to her ear.
"Hi, honey." Judy answered the phone.
"H-Hi, Mom." Quinn stuttered, suddenly feeling nervous.
"Is everything okay? You sound upset." Judy noted.
"No, I'm okay." Quinn told Judy. "I'm actually really good."
"Good." Judy repeated.
"I just wanted to tell you that I'm moving to L.A. with Noah." Quinn said. "I've been here for about a month and I wanna stay."
"You want to stay? Or he asked you to?" Judy questioned Quinn.
"No, I asked him. Noah was packing his stuff to come to New York, but I came here and saw his house, and I wanna stay." Quinn told Judy. "He can keep working and I'll take time off and when I'm ready, I'll go on acting auditions again, and we'll raise the baby together here and-"
"Quinny." Judy interrupted. "You're taking my grandchild away from me?"
"I know we'll be far apart, but you can come stay with us whenever you want." Quinn offered. "And we'll come visit you, okay? Please don't be mad."
Judy didn't say anything.
"Mom." Quinn said.
"I have to go." Judy replied.
"Mom, wait." Quinn requested, but she was met with the dial tone.
Quinn pocketed her phone and took a deep breath as she headed downstairs.
"Hey." Noah said. "How'd it go?"
Quinn shook her head as she sat down on the couch.
Noah pulled Quinn into his arms and held her. "She's welcome to come stay here whenever you want her to. If you want her here in June, we can set up one of the guest rooms for her."
Quinn nodded as she looked at Noah. "I know. Thank you."
"You wanna call Finn? I'm sure he'll react better." Noah noted.
"I'll call Finn later." Quinn said as she put her hands over Noah's. "I'm tired."
Noah nodded as he gently rubbed Quinn's arms.
