The weeks started to fly by. Quinn sent Noah back to L.A., as discussed, for him to work and get things in order. He was planning on joining Quinn in New York around Christmastime, but they texted almost every day and Quinn kept Noah updated with everything.

"I'm going home with Rachel for Thanksgiving." Finn told Quinn. "You're welcome to join us. My mom always makes enough food for extra guests."

"No thanks." Quinn responded. "I think I'll stay here and enjoy the peace and quiet."

"Well, if you change your mind, let me know." Finn said. "We're leaving tomorrow, but you could always meet us in Ohio if you want."

"Thanks, Finn." Quinn smiled slightly. "I'll be okay here though. Really."

"Alright." Finn nodded as he walked away.

Thanksgiving was only a few days away and Quinn was looking forward to a little time on her own. She loved and appreciated her friends, but Santana and Finn both were constantly asking her if she needed anything or if she was feeling okay and she was already tired of it. She knew they meant well so she just thanked them and let them help.

When Quinn woke up the next day, she had a missed call from her mother. Furrowing her eyebrow, she got out of bed and stretched. Quinn put her phone to her ear and walked around the apartment to see if Finn had left yet while her phone rang.

"Hi, honey." Judy answered Quinn's call.

"Hi, Mom." Quinn responded. "How are you?"

"So you do remember me." Judy noted. "Good."

"I'm sorry." Quinn apologized. "I've been busy with work and... other things."

"Right, well, I was just calling to let you know I don't have anything planned for Thanksgiving this year." Judy stated.

Quinn didn't say anything.

"So..." Judy began. "I was thinking I'd take the train into the city and spend it with my favorite daughter."

"Oh." Quinn said.

"Oh?" Judy repeated. "What? Do you have plans?"

"I was just gonna have a quiet Thanksgiving." Quinn explained. "My roommate's in Ohio and my boyfriend's-"

"What boyfriend?" Judy cut Quinn off.

"He's in L.A. so I thought I'd take advantage of the empty apartment." Quinn finished.

"Thanksgiving is about family." Judy reminded Quinn. "And the two of us are gonna be alone so we may as well just be together instead."

"Mom." Quinn sighed.

"This boyfriend... is this something serious?" Judy wondered.

"Yeah, Mom. It's pretty serious." Quinn muttered.

"Great, he should join us then. I'd love to meet him." Judy decided. "See you in a few days."

"Mom, wait. I don't think..." Quinn trailed off when she was met with the dial tone. She took a deep breath as she dialed Noah's number.

"Hey." Noah answered the phone on the second ring. "What's up, Q?"

"I need you to be here for Thanksgiving." Quinn told Noah.

"What?" Noah asked.

"My mom just invited herself for Thanksgiving and she wants to meet you." Quinn responded.

"Did you tell her?" Noah wondered.

"Not yet." Quinn said. "Did you tell yours?"

"Yeah, I called her and my siblings last night." Noah noted. "My mom wasn't surprised, but my sister and brother are excited and wanna meet you."

"Yeah, I'd like that, too." Quinn replied. "So can you make it for Thanksgiving?"

"I'll be there." Noah promised.
