"Hey." Noah said, stopping Quinn from entering the apartment when they returned after breakfast. "Everything's gonna be okay. We'll figure this out."
Quinn nodded. "I'm just thinking about my mom. She's all I have and I'm afraid she won't take this well."
"We can tell her together." Noah offered as he took Quinn's hand.
"Thank you." Quinn smiled as she led Noah inside.
"We're back." Noah announced.
"Hey, guys." Finn smiled.
"Hi, Noah." The brunette on the couch smiled.
"Hi, Rachel." Noah responded as he put his arm around Quinn. "Have you met Quinn?"
"Not yet." Rachel said.
"Rachel, this is my roommate, Quinn." Finn introduced the girls. "Quinn, this is Rachel."
"It's nice to meet you." Quinn smiled.
"You, too." Rachel replied. "Finn's told me so much about you."
"Really?" Quinn asked.
"All good things." Finn promised. "Quinn's great."
"She is." Noah agreed.
Quinn smiled as she looked at Noah. She turned back to Finn and Rachel. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Rachel. Noah and I will be back later. We just wanted to stop by to say hi."
"Yeah, we'll be back." Noah stated as he and Quinn left.

Quinn and Noah walked around New York for a while before sitting down to eat lunch.
"You barely touched your food." Noah noted after he paid for lunch.
"I'm not hungry." Quinn said. "I thought I was, but I'm afraid of throwing up."
"You wanna go back to your place?" Noah asked.
"No, let's walk around." Quinn said as she stood up.
"Okay." Noah nodded. He stood up and followed Quinn out of the restaurant.
"So..." Quinn said. "What made you decide to do this with me?"
"I didn't grow up with a dad or in a normal family and I wouldn't want someone else to have to go through that." Noah replied.
Quinn nodded slowly.
"My dad is an alcoholic and he was abusive. He cheated on my mom and was bad to her and to me, and I would never wanna be like that." Noah explained.
"I'm sorry." Quinn frowned.
"It's okay. He finally left for good when I was, like, ten and my sister was three." Noah said with a shrug. "He's the reason I learned how to cook though. And I can braid hair."
Quinn raised her eyebrow. "You can braid hair?"
"I had to help out with my sister a lot when my mom worked." Noah nodded.
"So it was just you, your mom, and your sister?" Quinn asked.
"Yeah, just us three really. A few months after I graduated high school, I found out I have a brother." Noah added. "He has a different mom and he's three years younger than me."
"Wow." Quinn said softly.
"What about you? You said your mom is all you have." Noah stated.
"When I was sixteen, I found out my dad was having an affair so I told my mom." Quinn stated. "He and my sister stopped talking to me after my mom confronted him, and then they got divorced. I haven't heard from my dad or sister since then."
"I'm sorry, Quinn." Noah frowned. "You did the right thing though, telling her."
"Yeah, I guess so." Quinn nodded.
"Well, whenever we have things figured out, I'm sure Sarah and Jake would love to meet you."
"Yeah, I'd like that."
