Scott let out a breath as he walked onto set with Mitch ahead of him. Their next music video was to a very romantic, heartfelt song and the set depicted it perfectly.

Mitch sighed happily as he walked under the twinkling bright lights strung across the set. He stood in from of the white back drop and looked up. A low-hanging chandelier made completely of bright white twinkle lights hung above him. He smiled brightly, and Scott smiled back.

Scott tried to push back the thought of Mitch's beauty under the soft lights, but couldn't. Mitch was smiling at Scott with dimples and his stunning cheekbones, and Scott couldn't take it. He nodded at Mitch and looked away, gathering with the rest of Pentatonix to see the plan of this shoot.

For once, the band had no idea what they'd be doing. They were tired of standing still in all of their music videos and not depicting the message of the song, so they hired a director that knew what she was doing. This director was known across Los Angeles as being the best for romantic music videos, and musical projects in general.

Scott had to admit, he was nervous about this particular music video, as it was a romantic song. How was he supposed to depict love with his three friends and his one best friend? On top of that, he was starting to develop feelings for his best friend. Nothing he couldn't ignore, though.

Finally, the entire group, plus Tori Kelly, who featured in the song with them, stood in front of the director.

"Alright, so this is a good looking group! We have girls and boys, you're not all white, not all straight, this is great. I can work with this! So, for this shoot, there are three different shots. Two of you will be in each respectively. I'll have a slow dancing one, a happy dancing one, and a funny, fooling around one. Now, there's no choreography, just feel the music. Good?" The director asked the group, not skipping a beat.

They all nodded, happy that she knew what she was talking about.

"They're all on the same set, so we all save time and money with that. Now, here's the beef of the video. The three shots are depicting love, friendship, and family. The three types of relationships. Since you're such a diverse group of people, I'm making this video diverse too. The first shot, love, will be Mitch and Scott slow dancing. The second, friendship, will be Tori and Kirstie doing a happy dance of sorts. The third, family, will be Kevin and Avi goofing around and laughing. Are we all good?" The director smiled widely at them, and everyone was excited.

Okay, everyone but Scott. Mitch looked a bit nervous, but happy nonetheless. Everyone knew this video was going to be good.

Scott let out a shaky breath, and gave his best fake smile to Mitch.

"Are you okay?" Mitch asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" Scott chuckled.

"You just smiled at me like a psychopath" Mitch said, giggling.

"Thanks, I thought I looked cute today." Scott joked, stepping on to the set. Mitch followed him on, waiting for directions from the director.

"Okay, love shot first! Mitch, Scott mark!" the director shouted and Mitch and Scott stepped onto their marks, facing the camera.

Scott knew this was going to be awkward, he could feel it.

"Face each other, not the camera! You're slow dancing! Scott leads."

Mitch sighed, obviously expecting that. Scott put one hand on Mitch's shoulder blade and the other up and out for Mitch to take. Mitch followed suit, putting one hand on Scott's shoulder and the other delicately in Scott's hand.

"No, dance like lovers, not strangers. Hold each other close, make it realistic!" Came another shout from the director.

Scott sighed and Mitch nodded attentively. Scott took a small step forward and Mitch chuckled.

"What?" Scott asked, annoyed that he seemed to be doing everything wrong.

"Closer" Mitch pressed, speaking quietly. Scott tried not to shiver at Mitch's words, and failed. It was just too intimate.

"God, I know you're not into me, but can you at least pretend until we're done?" Mitch said, clearly annoyed at Scott.

"W-what?" Scott asked, blushing guiltily. He didn't know what e Ds wrong.

"I say 'closer' and you literally shivered. Am I that gross to you?" Mitch chuckled, but Scott could tell he was angry.

"N-no, that's not it! I um- I-" Mitch sighed heavily and cut Scott by wrapping his arms around Scott's neck and pulling him so close they were chest to chest, and faces mere inches apart.

"Like this." Mitch whispered.

Scott let out a shaky breath and wrapped his arms around Mitch's waist.

The director called out something Scott wasn't paying attention to, an the music started.

Slowly, Mitch started to sway to the steady beat of the song. Mitch sighed and let a small smile spread across his face. Scott didn't have to act love-struck, because in that moment, he was.

Mitch leaned in, kissed Scott on the cheek and rested his head on Scott's shoulder, his face towards the camera.

Scott shivered again, from shock and bliss.

As the song faded out, Mitch raised his head and smiled the most breath taking smile Scott's ever had the pleasure of seeing. Mitch leaned in again and rested his forehead on Scott's, smiling as the last note played.

The director called something else that Scott didn't hear because Mitch was too close for him to possibly care about something else.

"That was great guys! Now, the next one will be just like that but lip sync your parts to each other as you dance. I want this entire shot to be face to face." The director smiled and clapped a bit, before sitting back down.

After they wrapped, Mitch drove Scott back to their apartment.

As they settled in on the couch for the night, Mitch became bubbly and cheerful, where as Scott was a nervous love struck wreck.

"Wasn't that shoot great? Tori and Kirst were so great. And oh my god Kevin and Avi were hilarious! I can tell, this video's going to be the best one yet." Scott was surprised at how cool Mitch was with how that shoot went.

"Are you okay?" Mitch sighed as he asked the question. He turned his full body towards Scott and lost his bubbly smile, making it obvious they were going to have a talk.

"Yeah, why?" Scott lied.

"I know we're friends, and you're not into me, and blah blah blah. Is pretending to love me really that hard? I'm not implying anything, but.. Scott, it hurts."

"I love you." Scott said, not looking at Mitch.

"What?! Scott shut up." Mitch said, chuckling nervously. Scott looked up.

"No, Mitch I- ... Fuck it." Scott shrugged, deciding explaining what happened today was useless and captured Mitch's lips in a kiss.
