The late afternoon sun glittered through the buildings wide edged windows bringing in a melting heat with it. Shielding her eyes from the blinding light that the sun brought in, Kylie Anne walked towards the Gow Highschool receptionist to ask for the fifteenth, yes fifteenth, time, how much longer it would take.

The female shooed her away with a short "Mr Turner will be ready in a few more minutes" not even lifting her eyes from the computer screen that she stared at.

Definitely a dating site. For sure.

Kylie snorted mentally, I doubt that it'll be, "A few minutes." More like a few "hours."

Kylie walked back to where she had been seated before, in front of a large European window with blinding rays of light in her face, irritated by the fact that she had ever agreed to coming to the school; to the "Mystery Club," located in Gow Highschool. An all boys school for the finest and richest families around. At the time, she hadn't even questioned why the boys of the council had asked her to come to the school instead of going themselves.

It hit her later on that there were no female students located in the school. She felt like such an idiot. Coming to a totally different school entirely based off the idea that her school was "Haunted." Yeah, right. The girls probably had heard of the rumour that the boys in the group were, not only the best in the business of discovering paranormal activity, but extremely attractive. She'd never had anything happen to her, so why did she suddenly have to go and talk to some daddy-and-mommy's-money, guys?

Soon enough Kylie's silent threats towards the student council were cut short once the door opened and in walked a very tall man. Kylie's thought's were chased away as her eyes followed up his lean figure, to his thin lips, not a hint of emotion showing, to his dark as the night itself, hair. His green eyes showed pure irritation and nothing else; but it wasn't just his eyes that showed it. It was his structure, his face, his eyes, and above all, his voice. Which was now telling, possibly ordering, Kylie to come to the club room.

"Mr Turner is ready" he said. That was the last Kylie heard from him as she followed him down the halls of the Gow Highschool. The rich prestige school could do no wrong, everything about the paint, furnishings, and school itself spelled out money. Ah, yes, money. How nice it would be to have money to spend on such a thing as school. Not just school, but anything. Kylie, having lost her parents at a very young age, could barely afford the schools entrance fee that she attended. That was why she was so lucky, having her school so kind with money troubled orphans like herself.

Kylie just wasn't focused enough to notice the lack of movement in front of her. Banging into the man that had brought her to the clubs office. "Sorry!" Kylie apologised quickly, staring at the floor as her face flooded with heat. Ugh! Why am I so flustered?! CALM DOWN. Even with mental encouragement, she just couldn't bring herself to raise her head and meet those piercing, and dare she say it, scary, eyes that she knew would be there. Instead of a response, which she had hoped for, nothing remotely close to "Don't apologize I'm fine" or "Don't worry about it" came. Instead, she received silence. Mustering up the courage to raise her head, she only caught a sharp glare from the tall man.

WHAT THE HELL? Kylie glared at the back of the him WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? ALL I DID WAS BUMP INTO YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU DAMN COLD GIANT! Of course she didn't dare say this to him, rather, she just knew that he knew he'd had done something wrong. Well, that's what Kylie kept telling herself in order for her not to turn around right now and leave due to his simple arrogance. But that was just when the doors of the club room opened, and out walked the most beautiful boy she had ever seen. Sure, "boy" might not be the best descriptive word to call him. But that was all she could come up with once he laid his deep blue eyes, as the deep as the ocean could get, on her. His hair was blonde, a shaggy kind of blonde, with pale skin that might have glistened like Edward Cullen's when the light hit it. She'd have to check that out later. He just couldn't be real right? Well, that's what she told herself before he held out a big hand and spoke.
