Day 1: dinner together

There's this girl named Rosé. She's been my colleague for 2 years. Until I develop feelings for her, I just realized that I fell for her deeply.

I'm badly in love with her. There are no days that I skip thinking about her. I think of her every time. I'm planning on making a move because I don't know what will happen if ever I keep myself low-key and do nothing. She may develop feelings for other colleagues or to someone else she also knew.

And that's what I feared the most.

"Hey Kook! What ya doin'?" I cleared my thoughts and looked at her. "Uh as usual, I have picked several calls for this day."

"Oh I see." She answered and sat to her working table just across mine. Like we're facing each other but between these computers and laptops in front of us.

We're the only one left here working.

"How about you? Not yet done?" I asked her. "Actually yes... Aigoo I'm tired. Maybe I'll continue this tomorrow. It's getting late, my mom will be waiting for me haha I haven't eat dinner yet." She touched her stomach.

"Gaja, let's wrap things up. Let's call this a day." I stand up and shut down all the servers that I'm using. "Wait, where are we going?"

"Let's have dinner. I haven't eaten yet too so..." I stared at her and waiting for her response. "Gaja! Nice idea." She laughed and organized her desk before heading out the building together with me.

"What's keeping you inspired to work hard these days Kook-ssi?" Chae asked while eating her meal. "Hmm, what inspired me to work? I'm not sure. I just want to work to sustain my needs everyday." I answered her. She nodded as a response.

"How about you? Why are you working even late at night? What's behind it?" I am really curious because she's really a workaholic one. She stays late at night around 12:00-2:00 am. It's passed midnight. That's why I also stay late, just to be with her. And I'm also worried that she might fall asleep in here all alone.

"I haven't tell you about this before. But my mom is sick... She's suffering from an illness. That's the reason behind my hard works." I know that she's trying her best to smile in front of me.

"I'm sorry Chae... cheer up!" I changed the mood. She laughed at me and finished our food.

Then an idea suddenly popped up in my mind.

I should make her happy.

I guess that's also one of the best way to make a girl fall in love with you right? Woah, you are so smart Jeon. Jungkook. What a smart guy!

"Ya! Finish your food already. Hahaha what are you thinking? I'm done eating." She informed me. "Yes? Uh wait for me. I'll just finish this." I immediately finish my food. I didn't even drink. Aish, it's because I don't want her to wait.

"Let's go. I'll drop you off." I smiled at her. "You haven't drink water. Drink it first aigoo~" She shakes her head. I felt embarrassment all of a sudden. After drinking, I drop her off to her house.

"Thank you for the meal Kook-ah! Drive safely arasseo? Goodnight--- I mean good morning!" I heard her precious laugh.

"Got it Chae! Take care. Good morning." I waved my hand to her and drove off. I almost forgot that it's passed 12:00 in the midnight.

I was just smiling the whole time while driving. I am freaking weird just because I heard her laugh. She is so contagious and precious. I wanna hear it again. Only if I can record her laughter and play it for many times while I'm alone at home.

Only if you can Kook...

"Goodmorning Mr. Jeon." They all greeted me as I greet them back. "Oh Rosé-ssi, did you sleep well?" I asked her once I arrived at my desk. "Yes, somehow? Hahahaha." She laughed. And that made me smile because when she's happy, I feel happiness too.

"Ooh, I see. Jungkook-shi seems to be in a good mood today. I wonder why?" Our superior (Lee Dong Bin) said at my back. "Yes of course sir. He always see his inspiration." My colleague friend butted in. "Shut up Jimin-ah." I glared at him who's just sitting beside me.

"누구?" (Who) He asked. "Uh..." Jimin pointed at Chae who's busy working, not minding us. "Oh, nice choice Jungkook-shi." He smiled at me and I awkwardly smiled back. My other co-workers started teasing me, good thing Rosé is busy and she cannot hear us I guess? Hope so.

"Roje-shi." He called for her attention. "Ne sir?" She stand up. "Nothing. Keep up the good work!" Our superior complimented her. "Ne, I will. Kamsahamnida." She said and he already went out of our room.

She's about to take her seat when she notice something. "Wae? Jungkook-ah, why are they looking at me?" Aish! "Yah, get back to work." I tell them to mind their own business. "It's nothing, you can continue working hahaha." She nodded.

This is Jimin's fault. Now, all of my colleagues know about who I like. About my feelings for this crazy beautiful woman in front of me. Aish!

"Hey!" I whispered to Jimin-ssi. But it's almost a yell. "Wae?" He asked while busy working on his computer. "Why did you do that? I'm the one to say that, not you. Aigoo." I said, annoyed.

"Hm I don't think you'll say it in front of them tho. Hahaha I know you're a coward." He teased. "Coward my foot. Wait and see, you don't know what I can do Jimin-ah." I warned him.

"그래! I'll wait for it my dear Jungkook-shi."

"Stop it aishhh, it's annoying. Stop flirting with me Jimin-ah." He really likes to cling with our colleagues especially to me. Well except to Rosé, because I warned him not to flirt with her.

Jimin is the only one who knows what I feel about Rosé. But sadly, he just revealed it to everyone. I really can't believe him. He is good with making friends. Almost all of the people who works in our building is close with him. Well, he's also close with Chae. But I told him to know his limit because I'll get jealous.

There will be a perfect time to say what my heart really feels towards her. Let's not be a coward shit Jeon Jungkook.

And when that time comes, I hope she accept it.
