Day 9: i like him, for you

"Aigoo, are you okay now Chae?"

"We heard that you fainted yesterday."

"Are you feeling better?"

When she entered the office, those were the questions she had to answer from those who asked.

"Don't worry guys, I'm fine. Thanks for your concern!" She lovely said and sat just across me. I also noticed that she's not pale anymore. She applied lip tint on her lips.

"Bruh." Jimin nudges me and moved his chair beside me to say something. "Why? By the way... thanks for keeping all of Chae's documents yesterday." I said.

"That's what I'm about to tell you. Speaking of Rosé's documents... It wasn't her documents at all." He whispered that made me curious.

"What do you mean?"

"It was YOUR documents." Emphasizing the word. "What? Hold on. MY documents? It's all complete, there's nothing missing in my docs so why would she print mine?" I asked.

"Bruh, it was all about your proposal. Can't you see? She's trying to help you with your proposal just like how she helped me with mine." He winked.

"Why? She haven't mention that to me yet."

"It's because she don't want you to know. What if... she wanna help you without you knowing. You know how smart she is right?" Jimin-shi do have a point.

"Don't set my hopes high bruh." I seriously looked at my monitor and her. Why on earth would she help me with my proposal? She can't trust me with that isn't it?

"Oh thank you Jungkook-shi!" Jimin happily said and tried to grab the food I'm holding. I immediately avoid his hands. "Nope. It's not for you."

I put it on Chae's table. "I know right. I'm just hoping." I shake my head on him. She's too busy again. I write something on her sticky note and stick it on her table as well.

'Don't overwork yourself. Get some time to eat. Enjoy this :)'

A minute later, she's back carrying all of her papers.

"와..." (Woah) She reacted the moment she saw what's on her table. I saw her reading the note and she smile. I avoided her eyes, pretending that I'm busy.

"Kook. Gumawo~" she whispered. I looked at her and winked.

She starts eating the lunch I bought her earlier. She's enjoying her food while typing on her keyboard. "Hey, are you really that busy?" I butted in. "I have lots of things to cover since I wasn't able to finish it all yesterday." She didn't even looked at me.

Do I have to be jealous on her monitor? Her attention is always there. 

"Fine. Fine."

I heard her phone ringing, she immediately answer it. "Hello? Park Chaeyoung speaking..."

"뭐라고요?!" (What?!) She stood up in shock that made her stop from eating. "Ne. I'll be there. Thank you so much." She starts panicking.

"Ya what's the matter?" I asked her. She's cleaning all the food she has and ready to leave the building with her bag. "Rosé-shi! Where are you going?" I called her but she didn't hear me.

"Guys! Please take over the office. I have some important matters." I informed them and ran all the way to the elevator to catch her up.

I insert my left arm between the elevator's door that are about to close. I saw her crying...
