Day 5: are you guys dating?

"Oh good morning workaholics!" Jimin-shi greeted the both of us the moment we entered our working place.

"Workaholics, my foot Jimin-ah." Rosé reacted. "Yah, quiet." I said to him. "Bruh, how's the day off?" He asked once I take my seat.

"I made her day worser. But she said, she did enjoyed it." I remembered what happened last Saturday. "Rosé looks so happy today. What could be the reason hmm..." He replied.

"But anyways, keep it up. Do better than the guy she's meeting lately." Is he giving me an advice? "Yah, thanks for your advice. But if your just gonna tease me after I fail then don't try to---" he cut me off.

"Nah. Just supporting you. Because... you two are just so cute." I smiled because of what he said. "Thankyou, for real." I laughed and started working.

I noticed Rosé walking outside our office. So I asked, "Rosé-shi! Where are you going?"

"Oh I'm about to make a coffee. I feel sleepy so... HAHAH why? Do you want some?" She asked. "Aniya, no need. Thanks." I smiled at her then she went out.

"How nosy." I heard someone said.

"Tsk! I thought you support me? Aish." I glared at Jimin who's smiling widely. Tch, he's really annoying me these past few days until now. I can't believe him, is he really a supporter or what?

"Of course I do. My dear Jungkook-shi." Here he goes again with that endearment. "I told you not to call me that or else..."

"Or else?"

"Or else---"

"Aigoo!" I heard a sudden sound of a broken glass. So I stand up to see what's happening.

"Omo, Chaeng, are you okay?" Co-workers are asking her but I saw her on the floor with the broken mug.

"Chae!" I accidentally call her by that, but I don't care. I rush over to her and help her get up. The coffee that she made is useless. She wasn't able to drink it.

"Yah you're so clumsy aish. Where does it hurt?" I asked once she's finally seated. "It's nothing Kook. It doesn't hurt." She smiled. I don't believe her.

I check her foot to see if there's a bleeding part. And yes, there is. As I expected, the glass was awfully broken into pieces so there's no way the she didn't get hurt a little.

"Aish, look it's bleeding. Wait.." I stand up to get the medical kit. "It's just a small scar. It's not serious at all Jungkook-ah." I ignored her, she's really stubborn.

"Hang on. Don't move." I instructed and started putting the ointment. "Ouch!"

"See? It hurts. So stubborn." I shake my head and apply the band aid on the bleeding part. "I'll be making your coffee instead. Stay there." I can see lots of eyes are on me but I continue walking to make her coffee.

I know that she's sleeping late at night everyday. She's really stubborn, she did not even follow what I told her to rest and don't overwork herself because she might also end up like her mom.

Chae, stop being stubborn please? It's for your own good. 

"Here you go, drink this." I gave her the coffee I made. "Gumawo~" she giggled. I can see their eyes are now on us.

"Why?"

"Nothing. We're just curious."

"Why do you act like that towards her?" a new employee asked.

"Why do you care so much about her?" another co-worker asked.

"You're so sweet to her. I envy your relationship." oops-- we're not.

"Uh we're not in a relationship guys." I cleared my throat and look at her, she's just busy drinking her coffee.

"But... are you guys dating? By any chance?" another question was thrown to me.

"No we're not. HAHAHA you guys seems to misunderstood what is happening. Jungkook and I are just close friends, that's all." She butted in.

"Y-yeah... just... close friends." I stated. "Guys, get back to work." Jimin declared. I take my seat before nudging him. "Thanks for saving me from the awkwardness." I thanked him.

"Bruh, it's my pleasure. No problem."

I will not just let us be close friends. I will someday make you mine Chae, not now. But I know, soon.

"Where's Chae?"

"I saw her again with that tall guy." He answered. Aish! That Jaehyun again..

"What are they up to?"

"I'm not sure bruh."

I decided to text her.

I'm with Jaehyun rn. He asked me to accompany him to buy jewelry for her girlfriend. |

I let out a deep sigh. She's really--- aish..

I quickly ordered a food online. Good thing it's just near here that's why it's already delivered. I paid for it and put it on her desk.

While I take a nap for a while, just gonna be waiting for her while the others are still on their break.

"Kook..."

"Kookie, hey~"

"Yuhoo~ wake up."

I heard a soft whispers in my ear. As soon as I open my eyes, I first see a giggling Chae in front of me.

"I'm back. Why are you sleeping in here?"

"I'm waiting for you just so you know. Hurry up and eat your lunch. Aish, your stomach must be angry at you. Growling for food." I tease her.

"Is that so?" She pouted.

"Yes. Eat that. I bought that for you." I pointed the paper bag that is on her table. "Jinjja? Waaa thank you Jungkook-ah! You're so sweet mwah!" She laughed afterwards.

I laugh at her reaction.

When it comes to food, she can't hide her excitement. But me? When it comes to her, I can't hide my affection.
